The Guild, Kansas City MO

The Guild was the PERFECT venue for our urban/ downtown KC wedding dreams. Not only is it stunning but it has everything you need to have your entire wedding in one place. Their outdoor garden was beautiful for our ceremony, the lobby was spacious but cozy for our cocktail hour, and the main room was grand and elegant for our reception. The staff was so sweet and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. On the day of, they made sure our day was as perfect as we imagined. We cannot recommend this venue enough!

The staff made my son's wedding day unforgettable! The space was spectacular. The attention to detail by all staff members was so helpful. The bartenders are top notch. Great cocktails. We are still getting messages from people thanking us for inviting them to the best wedding they've ever been too! Thanks Guild! Special shout to Chelsea and our day of contact. You rock!

We have delivered A/V equipment for weddings and other events here and have had a great experience with the staff here. Load in and load out have always gone very smoothly. We would highly recommend them for your event.

I love the Guild! As a Wedding Officiant I work with so many Wedding Vendors, and get to see so many Venues and The Guild is among the very very best KC has to offer. They outdoor ceremony space is just so cool, but what I like is that even if (god forbid) you have a rainout The Guild's inside ceremony space is so dope. That chandelier though! On top of that you've got such a great staff that really cares about making your wedding day perfect.

The Guild is the best wedding reception venue in downtown Kansas City. No, but seriously - we researched & toured a LOT of venues. For the price, you won’t find anything like it in downtown Kansas City. Not only is it a completely stunning, photogenic venue with an outdoor garden space in a fantastic location, but it has unmatched customer service. Chelsea, Darren & the rest of The Guild staff made us feel like VIPs from our venue tour to booking to planning to wedding-day & even after. They were kind, respectful, knowledgeable, responsive & flexible. All of our guests were in awe of the venue and wedding day in general. Many said it was, “one of the best weddings they’ve ever been to, ” (and not just to our face).

There’s many reasons why The Guild KC is often named, “Best KC Venue. ” As a wedding planning team that has worked with couples here several times, we are so lucky to see those reasons and action!

First – the space. You won’t find a better garden ceremony location, especially in the heart of KC! The cocktail area is perfect for transitioning into reception; and having two bars helps that flow even more. As the main event space has multiple wall features, our couples love that their albums are cohesive, but has a few different looks in it (brick, subway tile, etc).

Second – the people. Every single team member you will work with at The Guild - from touring, planning, meetings, and the day of - are so kind, down to earth, knowledgeable, and have a true heart for making sure you have the best day.

Our daughter got married at The Guild on NYE! The staff was wonderful to work with, Chelsea was our main contact throughout the whole process. She was very helpful and very responsive. Reese was venue manager on sight the day of and she was FANTASTIC.

The venue is stunning, with the gorgeous chandelier, subway tile wall and the red brick wall all work together in such an elegant way. There are both bridal and groom suites, a garden space, and reserved parking lots.

The Guild is one the most beautiful venues' in KC with a wonderful staff.

We absolutely LOVE working at The Guild. Everyone from the bar staff, to day of staff are so kind and easy to work with.

The Guild was a DREAM venue! We only toured one venue and signed the same day because we knew it was perfect. The venue had everything we wanted from the layout, to the outdoor area, to the old fashioned meets modern design/decor. Chelsea was amazing to work with during the planning process and everything the day of turned out exactly how we wanted it to! Have your wedding at The Guild-it will be the absolute best night!

Very unique and historic place. Was there for a wedding and reception. Cool indoor and outdoor venue.

My family had large wedding there.nice place with a old school, industrial vibe with modern updates. Hard working bunch of folks, 200 people with 8 piece live band, outdoor garden, and just the right amount of bars so people didn't have to wait too long. Could have better signage as even the Uber drivers had problems finding it.

The Guild was 100% venue of my DREAMS and Chelsea was the cherry on top. You could not ask for a more helpful venue manager! She was quick to communicate, had expertise ready to share on what has worked in the past or what she would recommend, created mock-ups of our ceremony and reception set-up, answered 900 of my questions - she is truly a star and loves what she does.

The venue is stunning. It was the first one we walked through and I was sold. The bar is gorgeous, there are both bridal and groom suites, a garden space, an indoor cocktail space, and OMG.that chandelier. The floors are a statement and the variety of walls (brick, wood, subway tile, window panes, etc.) give you plenty of indoor space for all kinds of pictures. Oh - and did I mention reserved parking lots and plenty of bathrooms?

If I could do it all again, the only change I would make would be not wasting my time walking through any other venue. Best venue and venue manager in KC - hands down.

Gorgeous! Only complaint-the cocktail hour space is very loud because of tall ceilings and flooring.
