STAY AWAY. Zero is what they deserve. Bought hundreds of dollars of items, some were long. Cashier Emilio would not let us leave safely through the big doors straight in front of us. Cashier Emilio made us take both our cart maneuvering at 90 degree angles unsafely. Won't change review because of Emilio's grudges and unsafe practices. We will be contacting Head Office in Atlanta, Georgia relentlessly until managers and cashier Emilio never attack customers by making them do dangerous maneuvers in order to leave the building when we want to after paying for all items at Emilio's register right in front of big exit door that I asked if we could go out of because we had long heavy items and full carts. This won't happen to us again. I will contact OSHA, Fire Marshal, and everyone. This isn't over and this won't happen again to us. When I say that we want to exit safely, you will let us out.

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. We bought flooring and installation from Home Depot for our new place. The flooring guys come in to install, and they uncover some cracks on the floor (that required some leveling, yes, but I find out from other experience experts that it’s nothing beyond a flooring specialists expertise). We were already aware of and fixing some foundation issues. After they had already ripped up my floor in the living room, they say they can’t proceed with the install until this is fixed, and it’s beyond their scope to fix it. Fine, whatever, I’m thinking it’s because their work is supposed to have a lifetime warranty that they’re extra picky. They instruct me to just give them a call when it’s fixed and they’ll get us back on the schedule. We have them rip up the rest of the floors to ensure there’s no other issues that would hold us up, get all issues fixed within 48 hours, and then call to get back on the schedule. We were told installers can’t get us back on the schedule for another 2 months! WHAT!? So needless to say I will not be going to Home Depot for anything else. Lowe’s, or Menards, literally ANYWHERE ELSE always. The incompetency was absolutely mind-boggling. Would give negative stars if possible.

Normally a great experience yet when we came to pick up a large delivered item, we waited over 45 min because the person using the forklift was too busy stocking wood to stop and help. After this long period of continued asking, Rose stepped up and went to do on her own with a pull lift. She is tiny and our order was not. Alongside her, cashiers, Andrew and Rafeal stepped in to help, who recruited Rustin to use the small loader to get it on our trailer. Thankful for these 4 and not so much for the forklift guy who was very much annoyed we asked him to help.

Online it says they offer tool rental. Ask a local employee and they will tell you that there is a van you can rent however no tools. Management needs to do better!

Had to return an area rug. The young man at the service desk came out and got it and carried it in for me. Very easy return. Friendly and helpful staff.

The prices are higher than anyone else but they do have a good selection and I did find something I wanted after looking at seven different stores

Needed a specific grout color and matching caulking. Osage location nor Springfield had enough of both. Columbia location did. Placed order online last night. It was pulled ready for pickup that same night. Thank you

Recently, I bought Ryobi lawn mower (all green & light wt, 40 V self propelled 5 AHM battery operated). This was the 2nd one & we paid $549 + insurance worth $75. As usual it had the same old problem of SELF PROPELLAR. It didn't work in 1st one nor it worked in 2nd one. Also it had another problem of leaking mulched grass like powder back towards the person mowing the lawn. Grass catcher didn't fit well. On top of that there is NO SERVICE CENTER in Columbia, MO. So we decided to RETURN it.

Let me tell you, HOME DEPOT has the best RETURN policy. We took our receipt. No question asked they gave our money back within 10 minutes. Home Depot KEEP UP THE GOOD Work but please ask RYOBI people to improve the quality of yheir lawn mower & get a service center opened in Columbia. Thanks.

Every single time we do curbside pickup it takes at least 20 minutes. We end up calling the store, the phone rings at least and I'm not joking 24 times, we've counted and when they finally answer they say we've been slammed. Yes I do understand being short handed and what I don't understand is they'll say our app is down. Easy solution.have an I T person fix it! Geez

I should note that like others, my issue is with the delivery and installation folks. Their delivery team made excuses on why they couldn't deliver or install our fridge and left the fridge in our garage. We rescheduled after trying to mitigate some of the issues they had made up, but on the day of the reschedule (which we also had a stove being delivered on) only one of the drivers showed up, and we had to help him get the stove in. When we called service to make sure the doors and waterline were correctly attached, after we had brought the fridge into the house ourself, they approved the service. Today when they were hours late to the appointment we called to ask what the delay was, at which point they informed us they had decided to cancel our appointment because they hadn't done the initial install (bringing the fridge into the house I suppose?). When we requested a refund on the install charge, they informed us they wouldn't do that because delivery and install were a grouped charge. I will go to Lowes for 100% of my needs in the future, as all we got from home depot was excuses and all around bad service.

Always my favorite go to. Always clean and well organized, and so helpful when I'm not sure what I'm looking for. The home depot just rocks, not only for the diyers, but contractors too.
