The John Wornall House Museum reviews
5Very educational and interesting. Our first time to Kansas City and it helped update us on the history timeline. Our photo shows a shadow figure in the right side of the mirror. And another photo shows sunlight bending and another small dark figure. See pics.
A fascinating house museum that tackles the complex stories of slavery, the Battle of Westport, and the influential Wornall family. Our house interpreter was incredibly knowledgeable and had a knack for giving is space to explore while also showing up exactly when we had a question. Today, it's hard to imagine that this house once stood in a large farm field! The overall experience made us want to delve into local history even more.
Beautiful historic home. Guide was helpful! Definitely haunted, and a cool place to check out if you enjoy history or just beautiful old
Homes!
