The Lacquer Room reviews
20Looking for a great, trendy, client oriented nail salon? Lacquer Room is the one! They can get pretty busy so making an appointment is the way to go. Ps. If you aren’t in the Liberty area, they have another salon, Nail Society, near the plaza that takes things to another level!
Receptionist wouldn't even look up from her phone to schedule an appointment. Walked out and won't be back. Facility looks nice though, it's just the customer service that blows. No thanks.
Water for soaking was barely lukewarm and got cold before my tech appeared. I was not offered a drink, and nobody told me I was dry or helped me get my sandals back on to avoid damaging my fresh pedi. Nice atmosphere-seems to be more focused on manicures.
Absolutely amazing services provided. The best in town! My dips and pedicure are still looking flawless after 3 weeks!
We are not regular nail salon people, we go maybe every 6 months or less. My 8 year old daughter and I went yesterday for the first time to The Lacquer Room. The service was great, the staff was friendly and there was no wait (we had an appointment but even when we've had appointments in the past at other places we have had to wait for up to an hour). Not here! We were in and out in less than an hour and half. We both got Mani/Pedis with gel polish for our manicures. I got the Tropical Paradise Pedicure and it was very relaxing. My daughter agrees they were the best we've ever been to! Also the prices are comparable to other nail salons in the area. We will definitely be repeat customers.
I came in wanting to do a pedicure and a gel manicure and wasn't fully satisfied with my experience. There was a bit of a confusion on who was going to do my nails causing my nail tech to have a client come in and have to wait for her to finish, which I feel like caused my nail tech to rush and wasn't quite detailed when doing my pedicure. Overall it was an good experience and I'll most likely be coming back, but hopefully my next experience isn't like the previous. But overall it's a really nice nail salon, a bit pricey but the quality of the products makes it worth it in my opinion.
I paid 130 for 2 pedicures and my fiance paid more than that for her nails. We didn't have an appointment and we were there for 5hrs
My favorite nail place ever and I've tried many! I get ingrown nails and everyone is always so nice and gentle about it, but especially Lilly. I think i told her i love her last time lol she is so sweet and attentive and saves my life! Place is clean and polish is nice!
Simply fantastic business and employees! My dip nails have been beautifully done. Try the ombré. They are so pretty and delicate at the same time.
I was never big into my nails because of my job.this all changed after my first visit with my nail tech. She's AMAZING! I won't give her name because she's mine. I need my appointments too but come check them out! Everyone is extremely talented. I come every two weeks and come into a very comfortable and welcoming environment! I leave beyond happy and stylish! I would call first though. It can get very busy!
LOVE this place! My nails look so great! Highly recommend for quality work. The best one I’ve been to in Liberty and they didn’t make me wait at all - be sure to make an appointment and you won’t have to wait!
Friendly staff. Clean and sanitary work stations. Tammy always does a wonderful job on my dipping powder. Highly recommend.
This is the best place to get your nails done, they offer a large variety of services at reasonable rates. I never go anywhere else, I've been going to Roxane and her mom Tracy for years. The entire staff is super nice and they all do a great job.
Honestly go else where I got charged $75 for some simple short nails that have just polish on the tip, no design, no rhinestones and have imperfections I don’t understand the prices are ridiculous, and she was still asking for a tip!
Wonderful place. Came in as a walk-in while in town for a wedding. Even though they were busy they were able to set me up with both a mani/pedi and did an amazing job. Best manicure I’ve had in a long time and the pedicure massages are the real deal! I just did simple gel application, but saw all kinds of really cool nail designs. They are very talented here. Definitely would recommend.
I would rate this place even lower the lady that did my nails was rude and would try to make jokes every time I didn’t like something that was being done. I got charged way too much for what I got which was acrylic with a painted French tip which was 80$! I got no design other than that and no rhinestones this place is so over priced and they’re work isn’t the greatest I have a couple of mistakes which I should have for an easy job.
This place is always amazing! Everyone is upbeat and enthusiastic. I'm there every other week and love it! Tony is the best!
I had a lovely experience! My technician was so funny, and he did a fantastic job on my nails.
I went here because we just moved 30 minutes from my home salon & I did not have time to drive back before I needed my nails done.
Pros: not bad on wait time with an appointment even though I changed what type of service I wanted, they still got me in fairly quick. Also, my nails look decent and prices aren’t awful. I paid $38 for a full + gel polish.
Cons: I felt super unwelcome. No one said hello when I walked in until a couple minutes where one of the male technicians asked me to go wash my hands and asked what service I was here for.
After getting seated, my nail tech said hello and then did not speak to me until the end when i was paying. Even when I needed to switch my hands or move them closer to her she would just yank my hand or tap on the UV light. The entire time she was doing my nails she was chatting with the technician next to her but again, spoke only a maximum of 10 words total to me. I am normally a person that doesn’t like a whole lot of forced small talk when i am getting services but It felt very rude to just move me around and tap on things with no explanation.
There were other technicians who spoke to their regulars and seemed kind, but I just felt like I was not wanted in there.
Apparently only a couple of them are able to do acrylics as well? Which I felt was very odd.
Additionally, she did not clean her drill bits in between the client before me and my nails. Which I feel is very unsanitary but I’m not certain what their rules are in their field.
In summary, I won’t be returning. If you want okay nails at a decent price but feel like you’re being looked down at the whole time, then you should be fine with the technician I had. The a couple remaining technicians seemed kind, but I guess it’s just who you get.
Amazing! My dip nails are still going strong 3 weeks later with no chips. Highly recommend
