Roman MADE this experience for us! It was our anniversary meal and we'd never been there before. He was so personable and took time to explain everything to us. His sense of humor and personality was perfect for us. Rita the manager came over at one point and the interaction between her and Roman made it clear that it was a pretty cool place to work and a pretty cool place to eat. When you have workers like that, it can make or break the decision to go back or not. Obviously, the food was fantastic! But, it's not just the food that has us ready to go back again with our kids. The atmosphere and the fact that the waiters, Roman in particular, took so much time to ensure you got the most out of your experience. Will definitely return! GO ROMAN!

It used to be an intimate place, but now it is like an expensive Applebee's. We were seated in the middle of 9 other tables in a bar with loud acid jazz playing. We couldn't hear each other over the music and small kids seated in our sections, blaring their ipads. There was some employee coming by every 10 minutes to see if people were almost done. The food was extremely salty from the start. We spent $200 on a meal for 2 that we couldn't even finish.

Regularly ignored by the staff throughout the experience. Food was good however, and our server tried. Finally the manager came by and was startled by how poor our experience was. The manager then went out of her way to ignore us from then on. I will never be back. My server was overworked, not lazy or incompetent, and I tipped her well.

My husband and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary here pre- covid (2019) and thr overall experience was spot on. We loves it so much we went again this year for our 7 year, but it has definitely changed. The food was perfect, but the service was way slower than before. We seated for our reservation at 6 p.m. He didn't come take our drinks or order till almost 10 minutes later. Then he took our order, brought our first course, but didn't bring the drinks untill after he set the cheese fondue. He was a nice guy and I'm sure like a lot of restaurants, the saying is to blame service on being short staffed. I get it, but when you are paying that much money for an experience, you expect the staff to be more proactive and present. We may just find a new anniversary spot. Make your own experiences and opinions, everyone is worth trying once.

The manager, Rita greeted us as soon as we came in. She along with the rest of the staff were so friendly and welcoming! They got us right in during a busy dinner time and went above and beyond with the service. Our waiter was so nice and the food was amazing. We can’t wait to come back!

We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was our first time so we didn't know what to expect. The service was excellent and our waitress, Alexis, was very friendly and attentive. The manager, Ms. Rita, was walking the floor and engaging with the guests. She was friendly and funny! We had a four course meal and it was a different yet delightful experience! We def recommend coming here for a date night!

Great place but expensive. Staff was patient with us since we didn't know the menu and were great with the teenagers we had at separate table.

I’ll start by saying we have dined here before and had a wonderful experience. So much so that we decided to return for my mothers birthday. To keep it short, our waiter was extremely inattentive, our order was wrong, we had to repeatedly ask for my children’s drinks, our sauces were brought out mid-meal after requesting them repeatedly. Our chocolate wasn’t hot. Our cooking broth sat so long that it actually boiled down a bit. Also, the items to dip to the cheese were squishy cherry tomatoes, bell pepper with the seeds in them still, and dry bread. The whole experience was extremely disappointing and took 3+ hours. This was a hard ask on my kids, thank goodness they are very well behaved, and downright frustrating for the adults. For many people, including us, the prices are so high that this is a special occasion-only type of restaurant, and we are extremely hesitant to return. Especially after reading the reviews, after the fact, to find that many other patrons had the same experience. I sincerely recommend they evaluate customer service and do some retraining or restructuring.

Lastly, I have to comment on the poor condition the bathroom was in. One sink was open, a huge fan was in there, two stalls were open and one of them was completely trashed with toilet paper. Something you might expect at Target, but not at a $200/dinner establishment.

Came to celebrate my moms birthday. We really enjoyed ourselves. New management is AWESOME. Ms. Rita is amazing. She made this the best experience ever. We WILL BE BACK <3

My husband made a reservation for 5: 45pm and drove two hours for a surprise anniversary dinner. He also added a champagne toast to our reservation. Once seated our server started out with bringing us our first course and a drink. The server returned at 640 to let us know that he forgot to place our entree order- not sure how since we got a four course selection that was $109 but ok… That was the last time we saw him or any other staff until a manger happened to walk by to check on us and we were in a secluded area sweating bc the cooking pot had been in by this time for over an hour. The manger grabbed us each a water and sat us in a new spot that was much cooler. Now it was after 7pm and We continued to sit and wait without a server or even a drink refil until our food arrived at 7: 30pm. The server came and we let him know that we were supposed to get a substitute that was not correct and he ran to grab it. It was not until 8: 15pm when I begged another waitress to grab our server and let him know we were done and not getting the fourth course because of how long we have been sitting. A busser came to clear our dishes and then he arrived with a ticket that took $25 off for not getting what was included in our $109 price and a “sorry it took too long” and left. Maybe it was just our server but the manger never came back to check on us and she had to grab us waters and a new seat and we told her the waiter said he forgot to place our entree order. I would not recommend eating here ever based on our experience. Oh yeah we never did the champagne toast or a drink refill! Let me also add it is a Wednesday evening so it is not packed! I wish we would have went to Coopers Hawk across the street

Dinner was so good, We came here for anniversary and they made our night extra special. They food was incredible and the atmosphere was really great. Our wait staff really too the night, Abyana really went above and beyond to make our dinner special. We can't wait to get back.

I love this place it’s very nice to go on a date here very warm and cozy and you will get stuffed. However if you’re going to come here make sure you have the time to spare. I believe my experience took about 3 hours from start to finish. It was amazing though to spend that quality time with my partner.

This is the second time, in three months, I have been to the melting pot and had similar experiences. I asked the waiter- where the children’s meals went on the menu? He said that they still have them but he recommends just ordering my two kids a 30 dollar meal to share and then they can try the adults chocolate and cheese.

Obviously our children are there for the chocolate and want their own chocolate. I went to the website menu and saw that they still had children’s options with cheese and chocolate. I asked him and he annoyedly said “yes they still have it” clearly he did not want to make an extra pot of cheese/chocolate but that is what we are there for and paying for? Anyways the website said for a full kids meal plus cheese/chocolate is 14 each.

My sister and I paid separately and she went first, he would not show her the bill and just stated the amount.

When it was my turn to pay- he again just stated the amount, I asked to see the bill, he seemed extremely annoyed and he flashed the computer screen at me. As I looked- all it said was the total, it did not show anything I was being charged for.so I then asked “I am only being charged $14 for each kid menu item? ” he said “nope they are 25 each” I told him, online it states the meals are $14 and he said nope because you ordered choc/cheese. I I then full on pull out the menu online and showed him it is $14 and he said “I don’t know what to tell you”.

Basically I had to ask a bunch of questions to even know I am being charged more and then he offers no resolution. My sister also has to ask questions about her bill- because they don’t let you see it.

Finally, I asked for a manager (I have never asked for a manager before) - the waiter went and talked to the manager. The manager never came to the table after the incident but did privately take off the items.

The waiter came back and said okay she took off items, but again would not show me my bill. I paid and left. (they did not offer my sister to change her children’s meals to the correct price) with the required 20 percent tip this is almost 35 extra dollars paid.

I would not have posted this, but, when I went with a larger party, three months ago- I also thought my bill was a lot higher than normal. I had to again, push to see my bill and found I was charged an extra 20 bucks just randomly tacked on. It makes me believe that when the automatic 20% tip is added that the staff is in the habit of just adding charges. It was a completely different waitress last time. Obviously do not know for certain- but why do they not let us see the bill? It is so weird! I would never think they were adding charges, if I was just freely given a bill.

I have never been to a restaurant, store, hospital, etc where they refuse to show you YOUR FULL BILL. I asked multiple times to the point it was awkward.

It is very hard to believe that I was accidentally charged the last two different times on my bills that are required 20 percent tip and I was refused an itemized bill.

I have never wrote a review before and I completely understand how hard waitstaff has to work. Our waiter brought out the wrong cheese, forgot drinks, etc but I would never write a review about that, nor do I mind when that happens unless it is insanely bad service. I have never complained about any of that at any restaurant.

But I do not like that it seems to be the restaurants motto to scam/overcharge customers what it says on the menu, especially since I have now seen multiple reviews stating the same thing.

Went for a Thursdate and had an amazing time! It was our first time there, and it couldn't have been better. The manager was a hoot, and so accommodating! She even got the whole restaurant to sing to all those with birthdays. We were there for an early anniversary dinner and the food was AMAZING. The fondue was so creamy, salads were fresh, meat was perfectly seasoned and the chocolate was to die for. Our waiter confided it was only his fifth day (and he was only 18, lol bless his heart!) and he couldn't have done any better. We will definitely be back for special occasions! Also wanted to add my husband has a shellfish allergy and they were very accommodating for that as well!
