We enjoy ourselves every time we go! Love all the live music and fun we have interacting with locals.
Tonight we watched/listened to Sarah and Mark
I had only been in the mission once before for some kind of after work thing so I didn't have too much of a memory of it. But then my granddaughter Nina Schmidt and two of her friends the Burnese sisters (I think that's how you say it) played there and my granddaughter invited me. It was the most relaxed atmosphere with not too much overcrowding there were plenty of tables and chairs and room to breathe my daughter came along and brought her little girl who's was 6 months at the time and she just climbed around on the tables and the bench seats and people smiled at her and that was all good and the music was wonderful and I'm a little partial because Nina's my granddaughter but it touched my heart so deeply when they played for their last song "You Are My Sunshine"because I sang it to my first daughter when she was born my mother had sung it to me and then my daughter sang it to her baby girl when she was born and then her baby girl grew up and played it in a pub and everyone sang with it and tears rolled down my face thinking of how I'd passed something along from my show was great and the barkeep and help were all friendly with smiles!
If you enjoy live music and all genres, The Mission is where you want to be. The staff are some of the best people around. And they have alcohol.
It was an awesome show, Jeremiah Johnson knocked it out of the building!
