Incredible. Wish the experience wasn't ruined by eating dinner at Jax beforehand. But the atmosphere and cocktails were amazing.

Atmosphere is good. Yet music is too loud and waiters take half done drinks away without notice. Not like this attitude. Drinks however are good

I’ve wanted to come here for about a year after I first heard about it, I came for a modeling event and also coming from a design background this place is GORGEOUS. The staff is extremely nice and personable so definitely check it out

The bartenders were nice and attentive. All the drinks were good. The DJ and music selection was great, especially after 10 pm.

By far one of my favorite places to be in KC. I enjoy high end so for sure celebrated my birthday here this year and had the best time. The service was phenomenal, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was sensational.

Definitely recommend. The food is great! It’s a good option if you are wanting to have a nice dinner date with cocktails. It’s more upscale than a lot of the places nearby. It’s nice that they are open late too.

My daughter recently visited this bar and got highly disrespected. The bartender decides to take a reserved sign and slam it in her and a friends face after she asked for a drink. This is very unacceptable behavior that I hope does not go unnoticed.

This was our first time at The Monarch, and we will totally be back! Everything was stellar and the cocktails we had were the best I have ever had, anywhere! Caleb was our bartender, and the most fun was letting him choose for us! Pictured below is the sangria because oh my goodness, it is absolutely divine! This is the most perfect cocktail lounge in KC! They have an excellent and wide selections of cocktails, great service, a very cool / chill vibe. Its a great spot for a sexy date or a small group of friends. They also have a small private section in the back that requires a membership or reservations on Fri or Sat.

As soon as we walked in the bartender yelled across the room that no baseball caps were allowed. (which is fine i understand dress code) The issue was that a few moments later a group walked in and a guy wore a backwards baseball cap, She said nothing to them. We only stayed for one drink.

My friends and I went here for my bachelorette party and were served by the one and only Malort king himself—the drinks were incredible, the service was excellent, and the only thing that could make it better would be if they served the perfect Malort cocktail from His Majesty himself.

If someone is pregnant and not drinking why wouldn’t you let them in. This place is biased and not inclusive.

Great music on the weekend with a live DJ. It was a little loud inside (I have sensitive ears), so we relocated outside after eating. The seating is intimate both inside and out. The flowers on the outdoor patio are very pretty. The drinks were well made. We also liked the fish tacos. Not shown is the pasta. I rate the pasta over the tacos. Whenever I can, I prefer vegetarian options. The fish seemed fresh, however, I did not like the crunchy wrap on the tacos. It was still good and we still ate it all.

What a beautifully designed place to visit for a nightcap. I love the ambiance and overall vibe. Upon my visit, I noticed the beautiful hanging butterflies and mellow but buzzing enery. The drinks were amazing. I went for a traditional old fashioned it was a solid contender to others iv tried. Prices are to be expected for a nice experience, and reservations are Preffered but not required if there's open space. It's one of those places you just have to go and visit on your own. Outside seating is nice, but inside is where you get the whole experience. I will be back as they seemed to have a notable wine list. The DJ was a nice touch and played a variety of music.

Always a good time going here! They have a seasonal menu and this one probably is my favorite so far, the Bone Marrow Tartine is sooo good and so fresh, the fresh herbs combined with the crispy crust and lemon is just too good! Their ribeye bolognese is also so amazing, great flavor throughout, the ONLY complaint I have is the food is never hot. I enjoy hot food and sometimes I have to send it back to get it to the right temp, my other friends have complained about this too. However that doesn’t negate the fact that the food AND drinks are always great. High quality lounge and the staff are pretty great too!

Five stars for Sarah the hospitality manager! She is a literal angel who made our experience a 100/10. Will be sending ALL the business here to see Sarah. Can’t wait to come back.
