The Neighborhood Car Wash reviews
20Everything always works and you can tell they are actually cleaning the handles off for people.
Actually love this car wash. I drive past four car washes near my house just to come to this one.
Equipment was fully functional and good time for 1.50 per cycle just dropped in for a rinse since I got five bombed by some pigeons. Did manage to score some new heavy duty floor mats someone forgot, so bonus for me. Working change machine or takes visa/debit cards although I used quarters. Good temp on water, nice soap lather and high pressure rince all on one cycle if your quick. Would have given a five but stalls were quite dirty.
Ate my change at the change station and when I put money in the washer to start came back. It never started and claimed I never put money in. I had trouble with getting the money in in the first place! Wash u on the hill. NOT GOOD.fast dryers tho
After I finished washing my car, an attendant came over and gave an ice cold bottled water to me and my passenger, which I thought was a nice touch since the heat index is 105 today.
It's your everyday self-service carwash. I like the spot free rinse given that STL water is pretty hard. They have vacuums and both touchless and foam brush automatic wash as well. Water pressure is up to the task. They do have clips to hold your rubber floor mats along the wall so you can wash them.
Sometimes this location will have a strange dude offering to clean your wheels or dry your car or some bizzaro thing. Just tell him to move along and he does.
I stay with this spot, our original neighborhood car wash. That new one they built in my new neighborhood is gaudy.
Good wash with free vacuums (although they are on a timer) - they are going to get creative to compete with the Blue Iguana that just opened up down the street)
I love this car wash not only do you get a token for purchasing a wash, my car actually gets CLEAN! No other car wash has made my car look shiny and new! I would recommend this to anyone! I use the touchless I’m not sure how the other one works.
I looked all over to find one of these car washes and ran across this one. Had everything I needed to get the job done. No issues from the coin machines. Price was reasonable
Paid for an automated car cash in their "foambrite" lane. Pulled forward, and the machine malfunctioned. No car wash, no employees working to fix it or issue a refund.
I went to this car wash today, i stopped in the middle line (touchless) and I paid $10 cash after the machine doesn't read my debit card! Also, it didn't work for me!
There is no person on site for help and no direct contact phone number! Just this number on a web site and when u call u hear just the voicemail asking u to leave your name and your phone number to call u back! I'm disappointed having to pay without any service.
Good midtown location.there's often a 10 minute or so wait.make sure not to make automated purchase until preceding vehicle's wash is well underway or you'll lose money.
Touchless wash does not get dirt off your car. The touch wash is better but does not get all dirt off your rims, oh and did I mention it put microscratches in my clear coat that I had to buff out.
Great car wash with both manual and automatic options. Vacuums work, garbages aren't left too full, and the waterworks have great pressure. Change machine is on site but I haven't seen an ATM. Expect lines on sunny days and occasionally some folks taking up bays while hand waxing.
Was in a rush so I decided to use the automated wash verses hand washing my vehicle. The automated wash left numerous scratches on my vehicle.
Second only to the dump a couple of blocks away on Morganford, this is one of the worst car washes I've ever used. The bays are consistently disgusting, and smell of putrid water. I'm not sure if it's being used as a bathroom at night or what. Soap or wax is out 1 out of every 3 times I go. I've never seen an attendant there, only what appears to be homeless people collecting cans while dumping the trash. Go somewhere else if you have the option.
I generally use only touchless car washes. This car was has both traditional and touchless. This review is for the touchless car wash. The touchless car was okay. It missed a few spots on my SUV. Works great on sedans. As a dryer in the end.
Like most park and clean automatic carwashes, it never gets your car as clean as what you should be paying for. Everything else is good.
