The Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza St. Louis

Here is the deal! The place was quite Lively, clean and refreshing. The popcorn was fresh, well tasting and buttery. The theater itself is clean and the staff was friendly. The seats were comfortable and I did have a place to place my drink. I would say dodge that long drive out to the county and find your way to the Chase Park Plaza Theater.

Beautiful hotel Attended a Christmas wedding reception, it was so beautiful ️️️ Excellent food and service. AND, there's a movie house too. I'm gonna check that movie house soon

I stayed here on December 24th 2021 Friday night in room 921 which was our wedding night. We wanted our first night to be memorable and called over 30 hotels in st. Louis to ask about room decorations and chose this hotel because the reservations promised us that room will be decorated with rose petals and flowers for romantic stay. However, we don’t get none of that when we get to the room.

When I called front desk about it, the front desk agent said reservations don’t know and that they are not doing rose petals decorations for room. However, they deliver a champagne bottle which we don’t even drink. When I made reservations, I made it clear that the main reason I was choosing the hotel was because of the decorations they promise. But it turns out it was all empty promises.

Don’t promise what you can’t fulfill. This is my first Time with royal sonesta. I’m thoroughly disappointed because it was my wedding night and I was expecting something more of a memorable night.

My wife and I stayed here for the Gatsby 1920’s costume party here for 2022 New Year’s Eve. Had a lot of fun! Then took her back to the room and showed her a good time…she was tattered…. I still have it baby!

Hotel is pretty. Service is good. But the most uncomfortable bed and pillows we have ever slept on in a hotel. They didn’t have any other pillows. The ones in this rooms were like sleeping on a Rock. Not the best stay….

Great Hotel. Great Service and they treat you great. Especially accommodating of you are there for a child's procedure. Which is very much appreciated. However there are places near by that are a little cheaper and closer to the hospitals. Double Tree is right behind hospital. But if you don't mind a little little drive go to Chase.it is nice and secure.

Without a doubt the most interesting, charming, luxury hotel in St. Louis. The internal decor and staff combined with their perfect location makes them second to none. I could have easily imagined I was in Paris!

The Chase Park Plaza is a gilded age gem with an intimate feeling in the heart of a grand old building. The Chase Park Plaza building is beautifully maintained and lovely to walk through or to sit with a soda or cocktail. The theater has some of the best movie popcorn available (large gets free refills) along with better than usual snacks and beverages. They had an early bird special of $5.00 per ticket on the recent day I attended. The bathrooms are clean and the staff never disappoints. The Chase is an experience along with your movie across from Forest Park. Street parking is often available and there is an indoor paid parking lot behind the theater if needed.

Loved having a movie theater inside the hotel. And thank you Rusty for helping us check out! Super helpful and made our stay that much better.

Fabulous stay. Awesome Staff who are always on hand. Great meals in the Chase Club. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Uber well supported in the area. Easy access to all other amenities in the area.

The Chase Park plaza, if you ask me a little overrated. It's it's architect has said to love two things, his concubine and the 90° French shaft. It certainly shows in this particular piece.

Hosted a private event party at the Chase. The staff was incredibly helpful, food was wonderful. Excellent event and experience overall.

Stayed for a good friends wedding and it seems like that is what this hotel does well, hosts weddings. There must have been 2-3 other weddings happening at the same time.still the hotel handles it well. The building is an ode to old world elegance. The rooms are large, sunny, and well designed. Very nice hotel.

Absolutely beautiful ballroom very big and has gorgeous lighting. We went for a wrestling event but this ballroom would also be amazing for weddings

Just walked through to see the updates. The Chase was beautiful, but the updates give it a light and airy feel. The hotel continues to be an oasis in the CWE with a movie theater, a few restaurants and bars, a gym, salon, and a pool. It's also within walking distance of she great restaurants and upscale boutiques.

I came here for the location and was surprised that the service was incredibly horrible. Epic. The maitr'd wasn't there when I arrived for nearly 10 minutes and when the bartender finally greeted me she said I'd just have to wait. It took for ever for the waiter to take or bring my order. Definitely more than 30 minutes later he came and asked if I'd already eaten. I would expect more from the chase.
