The Salvation Army Branson reviews
4The Salvation Army Branson is a great ministry that is truly doing the most good.
I went here Recentlyand They're More Stricter with They're Rules! More than before! They Insist On- Seeing your: Photo ID! + Social security Card! + Proof of address! When the last time I WentThey were More lenient with: two out of there! Not Anymore! - But the Other Pantry! Like C. A. M Only Requires One thing to Show!: OnlyYour Photo ID Card! And They give out More Food! + Bath Supplies! ForFree! Both Free Food Pantries are Very Helpful! But CAM Is Even More! And The Best One! Having moved to Branson from Michigan, I was looking forward to transferring my membership from my corps (church) to this one here. Unfortunately, the corps officers and the divisional commander at the time refused to transfer my membership because I support marriage equality. I had to appeal to our Headquarters in Chicago to be transferred.
Fighting to simply have one’s membership transferred doesn’t make one feel welcome.
The social work they do is admirable, but their ministry leaves much to desire. Beim bisexual and in a relationship now with a other man makes membership impossible here.
Because of this, I don’t think I would ever feel welcome here.
The staff was extremely friendly & helpful. They really helped me out in a time of need.
