1Anna House at Sarah Community is NOT the place to send your loved one! Just a few of the issues: waited hours for help when the staff were sitting around on their phones; loved one managed to get outside without a coat in 5 degree weather and was out there for at least 15 minutes before anyone noticed; suspected abuse of loved one after being notified of an EXTREMELY LARGE bruise at least 18 inches long and 6 inches wide that they said happened within 24 hrs of telling us and they had no idea how it happened, but Dr said that bruise was at least a week old and was infected, requiring antibiotics; smelled weed/pot on multiple occasions. Our loved one called Anna House a prison. What makes me sick is that the retired religious may not have anyone to look out for them and their care the way we did for our loved one. This place is simply horrible and should be investigated!
