The Tattoo Coven, Springfield MO

I have never had a tattoo and I spent a lot of time trying to find the right place and the right artist. From the first time I stepped into this shop I was welcomed, it felt like I had been there a hundred times. I had my first tattoo done by Kristen and she is amazing! You can tell everyone there is incredible and are one big family. I am already planning my second one now and cant imagine going anywhere else. Thank you so much!

Nikki B is fantastic! I wanted to complete my Halloween sleeve and she did amazing! The 3 witches, Grimm in the graveyard and she touched up orange on pumpkins I already had. The whole shop is just good vibes. My daughters and son in law see Sam and they just adore her! Nikki and I vibed immediately with what I wanted. She nailed the designs on the first try. She incredibly nice and has a great personality. Easy to work with. I can’t wait to see her for my next tattoo! Added photos, the plastic is on but wanted to show the work she did.

I’ve been to this shop three times and with each visit it immediately feels welcoming and comforting unlike shops I’ve been to in the past. Sam is super talented in her craft and makes your process smooth and fun no matter how long you’re there. Can’t wait to keep coming (:

Way over priced and she didn’t even seem like she cared what it look like! It did not look good at all. I definitely do not recommend and I will not be back there!

I had been looking for a specific style and found it here. They are very communicative from the first interaction making it easy to schedule and know they value you as a customer. I worked with Sam. She was fantastic! Reasonable rates and exquisite artistry. Plus they are fun to hang out with while you are getting your ink. Overall, a great experience with amazing people and excellent ambiance. I will be back for my next piece.

Absolutely love the Tattoo Coven. Sam is so patient and understanding. She is empathetic and talented. The atmosphere is casual, comfortable and encourages me to return time and time again. My ink collection has grown and grown due to my appreciation, admiration and respect for this parlor. I’ve even referred several very good friends to The Tattoo Coven and Sam. I have tattoos from multiple states and different countries, but Sam is THE one I will return to in Springfield!

I went to tattoo coven to look at their patterns and if I see anything I liked I would get a tattoo. While I was there they acted like this place was a comedy club. Sam thinks she's just so funny. I see right through Sam and I can tell you this girl has deep issues. After looking at her portfolio there's no way I'd let her tattoo on me. Then after reading their bio's on their website I could tell who wrote everybody's bio. I'm certain it was Sam. Her bio makes herself seem so great and the others bio is so so. Tattoos are for ever. Go to a real pro. Not these clowns. Unless you want a good laugh then I would go there.

Literally the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had! I’ve had a lot of tattoos before and I’ve never felt so comfortable and welcomed. I had Nikki and she’s amazing! Her work is beautiful and she is also quick! I am definitely going to be referring this shop to my whole family and friends! I am so happy with how my tattoo came out she also fixed my tattoo that I had gotten 5 years ago and just completely revamped it!

I do not recommend getting tattooed by Nikki. We had her do some finger tattoos not even two weeks ago at a convention and they are already fading and inconsistent. Her work that was displayed at the convention showed that she had some great line work and lettering, which is the reason I chose to go with her.

I kept the seal that she covered it with, and followed the instruction sheet she gave me to avoid this very thing from happening. She rushed through them but I figured at the time she was experienced and knew what she was doing.

Since she is not local to where she came to the convention, it’s not an option for me to go to the shop in Missouri to get this resolved, and I cannot wait a year for their free touch up with this on my hand.

The pictures are supposed to be a red queen of hearts and my last name on the other side. Placement and sizing is perfect, just the actual tattoo is botched.

Recommendation: Don’t go to Nikki for finger tattoos.

Zac was absolutely amazing! He did a great job on my son's first tattoo. Small but very meaningful. Can't wait to let him get ahold of me and do a back piece that I've been wanting to do for a very long time.

Amanda herren did an awesome job! Was able to make my vision a reality and was amazing to work with. So happy with my new tattoo.

Nice friendly people. I just got my first tattoo yesterday by Nikki B and ahe was absolutely wonderful. Everyone in there is nice and a very clean professional place. I highly recommend me this place to anyone.
