Please think heavily before signing a lease with this company which owns several complexes in the St. Charles, O’fallon and St. Louis areas.
Communication is severely lacking.

After my apartment basement flooded (submerged from floor to ceiling) during the July flash flood, we have been left with numerous emails left unanswered, calls left unreturned from the corporate office and questions unanswered.

It was only after residents contacted a city health official to come out and look at the moldy basements (2-3 weeks after the flooding) that the company decided to come rip out the molding drywall, clean vents and spray the mold. The inspector was quite perturbed as he had visited other rental companies who had their residents units cleaned up within a week. I wonder how long they would have left us breathing in the mold had we not had a health inspection done.

A successful business runs on customer service, or at least it should, unless it runs by the company taking your money and just not responding to you to avoid questions. At this point I can imagine that is how this company operates (feel free to respond and let me know differently.)
I’m not even sure the apartment complex manager can get a hold of anyone at corporate to relay our questions. Either she can’t or they are just ignoring her and their residents. Either way, it’s poor communication and poor business practice. It’s like their motto is “Just don’t tell them anything, then when we do something, they will be happy. ”
Well, I’d be happy if someone would have answered our questions instead of just sending out an email telling everyone to start paying rent on the apartment website, because THAT email was so very helpful.

I will say the units are being renovated. I do love my neighbors. Location is great here. The original complex manager was great at answering questions in a timely manner. The new complex manager is compassionate and listens but having answers in a timely manner or at all would be fabulous. IF you run into problems that surpass the complex managers, good luck getting anyone else involved to help you.

Edit: Thank you for your response. Had anyone read any of the emails I sent they would have noted that I was very understanding in the beginning. I have been understanding with Sharon as it seems she could not get the answers I needed either. It amazes me that it took an online review to finally get someone to contact me. I understand labor shortages, parts and supply issues and am not one to overlook these things. Thank you for finally reaching out.

The people they have doing their construction/renovating have no respect for people's property. Today they destroyed 2 things of mine while stripping balconies.

Wellington Group where we spit up family friends and communities. They brought out our Apartment complex, hopefully thinking they would update thing's, nope. They are making everyone reapply again (which I think is illegal and I will find out) They raised the rent to a ridiculous amount for what? We don't have a pool, DW, Dr-WM we don't even have a club house. We have mold, 50 yr windows 1975 water heater and other things breaking over and over again. But we are all family a community. We take care of each other. They are making low income people movings out. Some have no where to go. They are rude and very unprofessional. They are locust. Beware of this company. I have seen seen neighbors cry stress out panic kids staring around saying goodbye to their friends. Please stay away from this Group!

There grass cutters take to long. Just goofing of all day making the work long. Even stretch it to 2 days to do nothing but make noise. Call to complain about the work habits. Tonya there manger was very rude don't want to let you talk and wants to talk over you. Very unprofessional.

Nice place to live. They keep up with the lawn maintenance. The people that you talk with from the company are always nice. Very pet friendly. Neighbors are pretty good as well. Be prepared for the rent to jump up every year you resign a lease, that's my biggest issue.

I'm a errand runner thru tasker and i did a walk thru with Grandview Apartments and they are amazing from the time you enter until the time you leave. Joe and Mrs Lynn are super nice and make you feel at home. The 1bd studios are beautiful and spacious with gorgeous views. The"basement" is the nicest lounge area I've seen in awhile and if i had company over that's where we'd be. The whole viewing was great and i highly recommend looking here before anywhere
