Theo's Midtown reviews
20I would say that Theo's is a solid 4.5 stars. I've been twice, once for drinks, once for lunch. The menu is elevated bar-food with a Greek spin, and it's really good. They probably want to grow their cocktail crowd, and that requires truly engaging bartenders. 4 stars is good, 5 stars is amazing. The atmosphere is pretty chill, but I think people like booths, and there are none. 100% will go again, it's one of the better hangouts in Jefferson City.
Ordered the lamb gyro and fries. Both were excellent. Comparable to what we had in Greece, recently. My husband Ordered the Cali and it was also very good. Service was fairly quick. Food was fresh. Hope to go there again soon.
A bit pricey for my budget but the food was quite good. Given a chance I will eat there again.
Amazing food and service! We ordered the hummus appetizer with extra pitas, large pepperoni pizza and a gyro with fries. Everything we ordered was hot and fresh! We are from St. Louis and I'm planning another day trip for my family so we can eat here again!
Very tasty Greek meatballs and ravioli was the best I ever ate. Pizza was only average. The lower crust was very tuff to chew.
We love this place! It is in our 4 restaurant rotation for date night. Objectively, it is a bit pricey, but the quality of the food is fantastic! We love to start with the Agean plate and then we share a salad and then we split an entree. That is where our mood factors in. You won't find a better calzone anywhere in Mid MO. The Greek style pizza is fantastic. We love the Nawlins. Meatball sub is also delicious. We have never been disappointed by the food here!
Pizzas are all very unusual. Not necessarily a bad thing, but sometimes is less than satisfying. Not bad, but not great. And, sorry, if your "Margherita" pizza has feta (? !) cheese instead of mozzarella, please don't call it that.
Never had anything I didn't like from Theos! Great customer service, hot fresh food and Amazing Drink Selection for a small town Restaurant!
A worthwhile pizza experience! Outdoor and indoor dining. The pizzas we tried were thin-crust Greek-style; unique and delicious and go good with wine. Have returned several times. Great service, nice atmosphere, and a convenient location.
Had a gyro because I'd heard they were good. It didn't disappoint. I've had the pizza before, it's very good too.
Upside first.huge meal. Amazing gyros. I'm super picky because I'm greek. Fries were sooo thin and crispy mmm. The Salad that came with the gyros was fresh and I loved the dressing, not overly sweet like most people serve Greek dressing. Olive oil vinager and herbs people. That's all you need.
Downside. This was takeout and spent almost $40 but felt the waitress was very irritated with me. I wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and extra napkins (she gave me 2) because we were going to eat at the park. I also asked for a little lemon and you would of thought I asked her for a kidney. She was young. If she wants to continue waitressing she will learn a smile goes a long way
House Pizzia was great! Waitress was one of the best I have seen very polite and on time with drink refills
Pizza was okay, but had never been to a restaurant where you were scolded for scooting tables together… owner made us feel like he didn’t need our business. Disappointing.
Loved their pizza. I was able to build it so it met my dietary needs. Great service never had to look for a server they anticipated our needs.
My son and I had a great lunch-something we'll never forget-at Theo's Midtown this week. Granted it was a little pricey it was worth every penny!
The service here was absolutely wonderful. The waitress was very quick, and checked in on us frequently to refill our drinks or check to see if we needed anything. The appetizers were absolutely phenomenal we ordered 3 different ones and all of them were amazing and full of flavor. For our main course however the food was still so delicious but had room for improvement. We ordered a pizza, and it was fantastic, but I'm not a huge grease person and this pizza was fairly greasy. Of course it was pizza so it makes sense but either way, if you don't like grease I don't recommend. I also ordered a sandwich, although I can't recall the name, It was very tasty but at first I had a very difficult time trying to eat it as it wouldn't fit in my mouth. I ended up having to take off the top half just so I could bite it, haha! Overall very good place would definitely recommend!
Fast friendly service with excellent food and pasta! Clean industrial vibe inside and out.
Bicycle friendly area and easy to get to. Close to the Capital building.
This is a wonderful, professional casual environment. The servers are pleasant, communicative, and actually care. The food is great, and the prices are fair. What's not to love?
Amazing mozzarella sticks, ravioli was and pizza was AMAZING! Converted my husband who was an Arris' fan. We will be back!
First time at this place. Parking lot was full. Which I can see why. Food was so good. Service was also wonderful at comfortable atmosphere. Would highly recommend there Greek pizza.
