This is the place to go to get a rental. Very nice lady, polite. She explained everything to us and answered all our questions.

Worst experience of our lives. If there were no stars to give that's what this location would get. Sabrina is a rude unprofessional disrespectful individual. Rented a minivan in February for a trip in June but will we got there they said they didn't have any when there were 4 on a lot. Additional charges were added and when voice a complaint Sabrina pick up the phone to threaten us by calling the police. This is just one of the many incidents that happened at this thrifty location. The general manager Jeff has never returned our call. We have never experience such rude customer service in all our time dealing with different individuals

My family and I rented a mini van back in February 2021 for our June 2021 trip. We own a midside SUV but needed the van for space and for the others we were picking up in Florida. I called the day before our trip to confirm the van rental. Spoke with Sabrina. She was extremely rude and sarcastic. Told me she couldn't tell me the color of the van however could confirm I had one rented. I never asked if the color and found that extremely ignorant. On the day of the rental I received a call from General manager Jeff. He was asking how many people were traveling in my party. I answered 4. My husband and i and our 2 small children. He then told me that it didn't sound like I truly needed a van and that he would be rerouting mine along with 4 others to the airport for people who probably needed it more. I went straight to thrifty to try to work it out. We had already paid for a van back in February. When arriving, there were 5 vans on the parking lot of thrifty. Walking in Jeff immediately stood and started yelling "ma'am I am not giving you a van. You do not need one for a party of 4" It is not Jeff's decision to tell me what I need or not need. He would only give us a small SUV.smaller than the size we already owned. He wouldn't give us a refund for the price difference. He threatened to cancel our reservation all together. I filed a formal complaint with the BBB. We received a refund for the rental but will never be back to rent from thrifty. I would literally not send my worst enemy to this car rental place. I question anyone standards who claim to of had a good experience here. Jeff's customer service skills are laughable and his deminor is criminal. He clearly suffers from some sort of mental illness. Very harassing, disturbing and confrontational individual.

Great experience! Craig, the shuttle driver, was especially friendly. The ladies at the counter were awesome! Now, the only reasons I did not give a five were: 1) the car was TOO dinged up, and 2) the guy who checked us in was rude.

If I never experienced what customer service was Sabrina of Thrifty Car Rentals in Kirkwood, MO definitely set the bar for what that means. Patient, Understanding, Witty and caring are just a few words I think of with my experience there. Even in MY moments of uncertainty Sabrina made sure I was treated fairly and respectfully and never left unsatisfied. I don’t know if I’ll ever run into another Sabrina but because of her and the staff I’ll always remember Thrifty.

Reserved a Minivan a month ago and went to pick up today from the Kirkwood Missouri location. They was a mix up with the insurance that I paid for THROUGH Thrifty only to find out it was useless. No disclaimers what so ever on the website or booking. Fair enough, policies are policies, however adding required protection to our policy would take 5 days for a delay and that wasn’t good enough. All of this can be chalked up to poor communication on all ends. HOWEVER, what can’t be chalked up was Jeff’s TERRIBLE customer service. He was disrespectful cutting me off several times and giving a general “Don’t Care” attitude about our issues. It is because of Jeff’s attitude alone that Thrifty Car Rental will never get any of my money.

The minivan we rented was beautiful, clean, had 100% oil life, and drove very smoothly. But what really made this experience 5 stars was Sabrina! She was extremely patient, and helpful as we rented a car for the first time. She started our vacation off on the right foot with her amazing personality.

The experience I had was outstanding Ms Sabrina definitely was helpful, even stayed over on her shift to complete my mom and I trip, because we had been out since 7am looking for a rental car and Ms Sabrina definitely saved the dayShe the best thanks again

The amount you have to pay is crazydown payment $200 to leave town $100 slap on taxes $81 ooohhh dont forget the insurance and did I even mention the car. The car per day not bad but hun I mush be cheap because that was to much for me

The staff was nice enough, but after booking through Expedia months prior, when I arrived they tried to tack on an extra $5-600 in random fees that were not outlined online. They had a plastic sign sitting at the front desk making people aware of all the fees, but there was no way for me to know until I got there. I ended up cancelling because any other time I’ve rented cars through Expedia it is the true price and there have never been surprise fees like that (especially almost $600 in surprise fees).

Loving my experience with Sabrina Manley, everything was managed clear and accurate in a timely manner. I will recommend this location to anyone. It is less money because it is located off site of the Airport. You will not be disappointed ask for Sabrina.

Had a confirmed reservation for a van to use to take my family on vacation. I called 30 minutes prior to pick up. They said unavailable. Person on phone could care less. They will ruin your vacation. And could care less. Go somewhere else. Manager called listened to complaint and never called back.

A very huge Thank you to Ms Sabrina! She was AMAZINGLY SWEET & Super kind. I had been having a hard time finding a rental and I called her and came to the office and she took good care of me super fast in less than 15mins! She’s really nice to work with. Thank you girl.

Fast and simple. Great prices and no surprise charges. Sabrina gave me great customer service.even while she was juggling several customers and managing the phone. She made it more personable of an experience, I didnt feel like just a another customer. I will never go anywhere else

I flew into town at midnight due to one of my parent's being on their death bed. I'm only posting this review in hopes the owner's educate their staff so that future customers aren't denied service due to a misunderstanding.

The receptionist meant well when she denied me service, and I understand she's only doing her job. She didn't believe that my Discover debit card was actually a debit card because she's not aware of Discover's branding and the unique look of the company's cards. She Googled "Discover prepaid" on her cell phone, and since it showed Discover's basic card-white background, silver diamonds, and all the card info on the back-she was convinced that my Discover debit was actually a prepaid card. If she had Googled "Discover debit", the same card would've shown up because that's Discover's branding. She refused to allow me to call my bank and prove it's a checking account. We both remained professional and calm, but I would like to spare someone else from being denied service.

These positive reviews about SABRINA have to be fake. She is rude. NO customer service skills. Hung up on me on Sat. I called back but never answered again. Called from a different number Monday morning. Does not want to offer any assistance, condescending. If she is soooooo busy, I would suggest they add staff to help her. I will be spending my money for my 9 day rental elsewhere.

Car wreaked of cigarettes so badly that we bought an air freshener and that barely helped. Masks were only worn by some employees, and even the employees that wore them would take them off randomly in the building.

Beware if you booked through Expedia, the check out time on Expedia will be different than the time you have with Thrifty. Was charged a late fee because I was unaware that my check out time differed my online reservation.
