Timewalker Tattoo, Kansas City MO

It used to be great, and the artists (most of them) were wonderful. But the new-ish owner is predatory and I don’t support an owner who grooms and uses his position of power on others. All of the amazing artists left, do your research and take your business to them but don’t step foot in Timewalker.

I have gotten several tattoos at this studio, and this week 9 of their artists walked out due to the owner's predatory relationship and grooming behaviors. Without the artists who made this place the cool, safe space it once was- there is nothing good left.

Used to have a lot of great talent. They all left because the new owner is a ghoul. Instead of going here seek out the artists that used to work here and support them.

Had great artists until the new owner decided to be be a terrible human. Go seek out the artists who USED to work here. Don't come here.

Owner is VERY unprofessional. Would never recommend coming here since they treated their employees wrongly. Was tattooed here 3 times and would follow most of the other artists individually! But please stay away from this shop for your safety.

Owners dating a woman who is 18 he is 38 and thinks that's appropriate and totally OK 9 of the 12 arist left die to this don't support this place go somewhere else

Timewalker Tattoo is a great place to get a tattoo. I love the architecture of the place. The artists are knowledgeable and non-judgemental

Waited 15 hours for a flash event but my friend and I both got two tattoos out of it! I got one from Felix and Ren, and my friend got one from Brandy and Ren. Amazing atmosphere, amazing artists, amazing art. Will definitely be coming back

I just got a tattoo done yesterday by JC. JC designed a matching tattoo for me, my mom, and my sister & did a butterfly piece also. What a great experience! 10/10 will definitely be coming back!

I came to KC to visit so I'm not local which posed its own issues. Communication was stellar. I had questions and Jamie answered everyone prior to my appointment. On the day of the tattoo, Jamie went over the entire process. We made a few changes for the better and we started the process. He is not only an amazing artist, but he is very cautious when it comes to safety and making every effort to prevent infections. The instructions for tattoo care were clear and even sent via text to make sure I had them. He even followed up the next day on how I was progressing. He is professional and cares very much about his work AND his clients. Whether it's your first or one of many, you should choose Jamie for your tattoo.

Fantastic experience getting a tattoo from Brandy. Ren and JC were super welcoming and friendly as well.

We showed up early to appointment, and wasn't sure where to go. The sign pointed upstairs for Brandy, however the stairwell was super dark and looked like we weren't allowed to go up there, despite it being 3pm. We sat downstairs on the couch for about 10 minutes before somebody asked if we'd been helped, when we advised we were there to see Brandy, and then we were told the lights are motion activated at the top of the stairs.

Beautiful building, beautiful work, and fantastic people. Please install lights.

I got my first tattoo done by Brandy and she did an amazing job! She is very calming, does amazing work, and made my design personal and in her unique style. She was attentive and understanding and it was a great experience.

I’ve been tattooed by both Ren and Brandi here, and their professionalism and shop culture shows that Timewalker is one of the best places to get tattooed in KC.

Every appointment I’ve had has been comfortable, safe and clean. And all my tattoos have been high quality, amazing art!
