And this rating is being generous when it comes to our experience. The doctor put my fathers Aspen collar upside down! When asking him how my father was suppose to eat, take his medication.the doctors response was, " he can still do those things. " Now I'm an RN and worked for SSM on a neuro surgical unit for 7 years and have never heard of such a thing happening. After this was all said and done. Mr. Graven told my father that due to the severity of his cervical fracture to his C2, he better listen to him or her can become paralyzed or even die. DIE? Darn right he could die. The entire appointment lasted less than 10 mins. Didn't pull up the CT scans to explain where the fractures were. Didn't explain worsening symptoms for him to call an ambulance. One of the fractures is a comminuted fracture of the transverse process left side which means that artery that goes up to my dad's brain feeding it blood and oxygen is compromised. No other scans were ordered to get a better picture of what was going on, like a MRI to make sure that the blood flow was still good. Mr. Graven can't even put on an Aspen collar right on a patient (the instructions come with the collar), has a poor sense of urgency and is going end up hurting somebody. Where the hell was the nurse when this was happening? And why didn't staff say anything when we checked out? Absolutely unexceptable. I had to correctly put on my father's Aspen collar. We have sought out a second opinion from an experienced Doctor who ordered an MRI and another CT scan with contrast immediately without us having to request it. I strongly suggest people look else where for treatment, Mr. Graven is not properly educated to be practicing medicine.

My experience with Dr graven was very professional, encouraging, and he was very knowledgeable with my symptoms and how to repair me.

From the time I was 1st seen in office to figure out my issue Dr. Graven made sure I knew every option, every step of the process, answered my questions, and I ended up exhausting all option before ultimately deciding on having surgery. I had a 2 level cervical diesectomy and fusion at c3-4 and c4-5. Dr. Graven kept me informed prior to and after surgery and even started his rounds at the hospital early in the morning before going to his office. This made my day because I knew once he checked on me and cleared me I would be headed home later that day! Surgery went smoothly and recovery is going well so far! He is a caring doctor and I appreciate that he is straight to the point and doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to your health options.

Dr Graven is an excellent doctor and surgeon. Great office staff, very timely and awesome bedside manor.

Everyone has been so kind and extremely caring. Dr Graven knew exactly what my back issues were and fixed it. Hope I don’t ever need surgery again but wouldn’t hesitate to go back if I do! Office staff was very professional.

Doc is cool! Definitely one of my favorites easy to talk to and just makes you feel comfortable.

I'm a new pt of Dr. Graven and thus far I'm pleased not only with his entire staff but Dr. Graven as well. He's got a witty sense of humor which I like because it calms your nerves. He has addressed my lower back issues and has come up with a plan. I'm feeling better already.

I had the perfect Dr. He was kind considerate and passionate he walked me through the entire process he was very efficient and thorough I am very happy that I was referred to Dr Graven. Where I thought I would be in for hours he got me in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Who is the best thing to me with do you have to see him answer any questions just need to remember what you would like to ask him straight to the point I like him he doesn’t do a lot of talking I asked you plenty of questions and he let you know after that what he can do for you check him out I don’t think you will be dissatisfied more satisfied today is September 7 just got home just have to give it time

Dr. Gheith referred me to him for my permanent Spinal Cord Stimulator surgery. My scar on my back is barely noticable. Great job.

He is definitely my light at the end of the tunnel. I've been suffering for years. I've been seeing orthopedic Dr's, searching for help and all I had gotten was judged and dismissed by all of them, until Dr Graven. He is like a breath of fresh air. His bedside manner was beyond amazing. So caring and compassionate! I had zero wait time in the waiting room. From the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out, was nothing short of amazing. The front desk staff and the nursing staff were wonderful too. If you are wanting a spine dr that really cares and listens, Dr Graven is the guy!
