Transgender Memorial Garden reviews
2 We are so lucky to have this space dedicated to the transgender folks who've gone before us, and in support of those of us still fighting to live and have the rights any person should have.
I was lucky enough to attend the Trans Day of Visibility gathering hosted by Metro Trans Umbrella Group tonight. Many speakers were there, representing the SQUISH mental health hotline, THISTL, MTUG, and more. Even the mayor joined us and expressed her support. I'm thankful for the queer community in St. Louis and I believe we can accomplish so much together.
As of May, 2021, The Trans Memorial Garden moved to a new location, near Benton Park, in the City Of Saint Louis, MO. I was one of many volunteers who helped in the effort. The new location is 2800 Wyoming St.
The new location is beautiful, serene and also has a community plant adoption cabinet to allow visitors to take and leave plants, flowers, or seeds to grow. All the grounds are still maintained by trans and queer volunteers.
