Travellers House Coffee and Tea, Springfield MO

We live 35 miles away and this is our 2nd trip coming here.closed again. Both times the website said they were open. The first time found out they closed at 5pm on Saturdays as posted on the door (not the website). Today came at 2: 30 and again closed. This will definitely be the last time we try.

I had the Paris tea. This tea was amazing so much flavor. You have to try this place you will be impressed.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Service was prompt. The atmosphere was generic but nice enough. It was clean and plenty of seating options. I ordered a chai latte. It was fine. I wouldn't order the same thing again; too much milk and not enough spice. My friend had an almond joy coffee and very much enjoyed it.

Nice atmosphere. Busy place. I had the southwest quiche. Very good. Just the right amount of spice without being overpowering. Coffee flavor nice. Not bitter.

Discovered this place as I was traveling and wanted coffee that was not starbucks. I was quite pleased with my iced latte. The coffee is a nice roasted flavor with low acidity.

I wish I liked this…but there was just no flavor at all. I got a s’mores latte and all I feel like I got was a coffee with a lot of milk. This was my first time and I probably won’t be back.

I visited this branch for the first time yesterday, with a college friend. We both liked it every bit as much as I loved their branch across from Missouri State University, where I enjoyed coffee sometimes as a student there.
As much, we really enjoyed our coffee and the sweet treat we shared. The style of "for here" mugs, the sweet taste of espresso drinks, and even the design of the frothy milk at certain coffee shops in Springfield, including Travellers House, truly caused me to want an espresso machine for myself at home that would eventually brew coffee of a similar kind.

We love this coffee shop! Everything I've had has been delicious! Ask the coffees are good but if you are looking for something brighter, the mango smoothie is delicious!

Don't recommend going here unless its to talk to someone. Good atmosphere but food could use some TLC, seasoning, and the bacon was burnt (Bacon is super easy to cook btw)

The best sandwich I’ve ever had, the three meat sandwich on panini bread! Friendly staff as well and the owners are so nice

This is a busy place on a Saturday! Lots of conversations going on.

I had a sticky chi. It was pretty good. My friend had a regular coffee and said that it was nearly as good as the coffee she has specially shipped to her from a little home-town shop in Iowa who gets their coffee direct from Guatemala. We will both be going back eventually.

Very nice Christian atmosphere, food and drinks are great, great place for young people to study and down to earth attitude

The cappuccino was great and the pastry was delicious. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxing. A nice place to spend some time.

Let's talk about Travellers House, everyone. I was planning a bridal shower near Christmas. Yes, it was a super busy time, but I love the bride, so plan I did. Travellers was my saving grace.

We reserved the room at the BoomerTown location on National. They catered all of the food and drinks for us. The staff were super helpful while I was creating my menu. I had so many questions, and they patiently and meticulously answered each one. They had recommenndations about food and drinks based on what I had planned for our event

The bridal shower was beautiful and everyone loved the food. The tea's and coffee they recommended were fabulous. The room was beautiful and the atmosphere was cozy. I highly recommend their catering and facilities.

Terrible because the owner takes thing extremely personal. If you have an issue with an order, he'll look at you in disgust, and laugh you off as if you were a joke. I would highly recommend taking your business else where, simply down the street. It is sad that a Christian coffee shop has made me so distraught to write a negative review but I do hope that one day it changes or the owner's attitude is toned down a notch. This was an outrageous experience time out with my friends and I do highly recommend not giving them your precious time and business. Thank you.

The coffee here is amazing and the customer service is always great too. There's such a calm and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for reading a book or catching up with an old friend.

Travellers is great atmosphere whether you're working alone or for a business meeting. The staff are always friendly and go out of the way to take care of you. I'm never disappointed whenever I visit.

The place has a good vibe overall; however, their couch chairs are incredibly worn out. And not in a cool way. The leather is cracked and bottoms worn down to the wood base. Not a comfy place to relax at all.

Regarding the food, I was disappointed. I ordered a 3 meat sandwich. When I got it, the spinach and tomato was served to the side. Note the singular in tomato. I was served exactly six spinach leaves and one small tomato slice for a full sized sandwich. The spinach was enough to barely cover the surface area of the sandwich with one layer and the tomato barely half. I went to ask for some more veggies and was promptly told that it would be a 60 cent upcharge for what they should have given me anyway. I find it ridiculous that they be so stingy with the cheapest ingredients in their kitchen.

To add insult to injury, they never gave us the scone we ordered so we had to go ask for it again.

I would not recommend this place.

The coffee and the friendly staff and clientele never disappoint! My husband and I come here almost every day because it’s such a great place.

I am visiting family and have stopped by Travellers three times in a week! I was worries the third time because I was in a hurry and it was packed but they managed to get my food, a smoothie, and a latte to me in under 10 minutes. Tasty food, good coffee, and great service!
