Twin Oak Wood Fired Pizza & BBQ, Brentwood MO

This place was awesome. The pizza was delicious, and they have happy hour (pizza and beer included) on week nights, so it was an incredible deal. Our waitress Elizabeth was very kind/friendly.

I'll definitely be back.

Went St. Louis for a hockey game, so hockey fans they get 3 stars like a game. 1st star the pizza, yep it was really good. 2nd star our waitress, great job. 3rd star parking, parking garage right there. Sorry friends, stay away from the BBQ ribs no flavor. Sorry, tried them without any sauce, was there any rub on them? Had to douse them with sauce to put them down.for the side, added $4 for burnt end mac and cheese (no burnt ends I ever eaten look like little cubes of flat meat. Seen bigger pieces of meat in cat food) not even close to worth it! Pass. So, if you do go, stick to the pizza. Wish I would have tried the chicken? Let's just agree to disagree that brick fire ovens are no place for BBQ, leave that for the smokers.

I'm guessing the people that left a review over 3 stars must not have been recently or they just have bad taste and don't know what good food is or they are giving high star ratings to make this place seem better than it really is. My husband and I tried this place and it left alot to be desired. The staff they had cooking on Saturday March 19 2022 at roughly 8pm were HORRIBLE! My pizza looked like it was half burned and half baked. It seemed like all the cook staff did was complain and curse loudly instead of focusing on their job and at least trying to do a half defect job, but I'm guessing no one cares about anything anymore. Needless to say, we will NOT be back.

I'm from Dallas, Tx area and this pizza was so good! Built my own pepperoni and hamburger pizza.
I sure wished we had a Twin Oaks back home!?

Tasty vegetarian and Italian stallion pies. Yummy beer options. Half price happy hour and an amazing waitress. Happy are we!

We tried the wood fired dough for dipping. We were expecting something like garlic knots or bread sticks. Little did we realize the dough was the same size as a pizza. This was a unique appetizer and actually it was pretty good. Paired well with Bur Oak Clydes caramel cream ale. Good tasting craft beer. We order a couple of thin crust pizzas. Both pizzas tasted good. They were not greasy which would indicate they are using quality cheese. Definitely will be visiting this restaurant again when we are in St. Louis.

The first time I visited this venue, I was very happy because I really enjoyed their pizza and beer lineup. I also learned that they ran a special during local sports games (hockey, baseball, etc.). What could be better, right? I really enjoyed getting to know the manager and some of the bartenders. Seemed like nice people. As a result, I've even promoted the venue to my social group. I truly had become an evangelist for Twin Oaks Wood Fired Pizza. Even though it's a little out of the way, I would explain to people how to get there and what great food they had.
The problem begins when I stop by after a long day and a workout at the gym. I turned down a dinner invitation with a friend at another restaurant in Ladue, to go to have a good Neapolitan-style pizza at this place. It's 8: 45 PM and I walk up to the bar to order a pizza and a beer for a late dinner. The young lady at the bar tells me “oh sorry, but the kitchen is closed”. From a previous visit (when I asked, as I am a busy guy and plan my stops), I know that the kitchen doesn't close until 9: 00 PM. So, I ask, can't you squeeze one last pizza before it closes? I'm kinda hungry. “Sorry no, it’s closed”. A bit frustrated, I decided to take my business elsewhere and end up at another local venue, OB Clark's. OB’s doesn’t let me down (they have the best wings). This was about three or four months ago.
Two more times, the third time being last night, I have had the very same experience. There doesn't seem to be any regard for the customer at this business. I mean if you wanna close at 8: 30 then close at 8: 30, or 8: 00, or whatever, right? I have worked in the restaurant industry and know what it is like to cook, serve, and close a restaurant. This place is destined to be nothing more than a small, slow, barely visited venue unless they change their ways. It’s sad but I have to ask – who’s in charge? I ended up going down the street to Twin Peaks for a salad, wings, and a beer. Not great, but dependable with CLEAR EXPECTATIONS FOR THE CUSTOMER. I am in sales and one thing I know is you never wanna do is surprise your customer, especially with bad news and unmet expectations. In the end, I put it down to the management and allowed this type of behavior to go on. I don't think I will ever waste my time going back.

Ordered take out. I got the BBQ smoked chicken dinner and my partner got the Pork sandwich. The chicken was sooo dry and burnt it was like trying to eat paper.couldn't finish it. The Pork sandwich was not much better, and the salad was mostly just lettuce. The only saving grace was the cheese bread and that was nothing to write home about. This place used to be good but has since went downhill and it doesn't appear the staff cares too much. Will not be returning.

Heard they had the best smoked wings so my wife and I decided to try. Our chicken was burnt to a crisp. They gave us some spicy sauce instead of the garlic we asked for and my mixed green salad was 90 % greens. For 60$ I expected way more

We ordered mac and cheese with burnt ends which cost $2 more. It was maybe 3 pieces of meat in the dish.
Ordered some chicken wings which were not bad.
Now we come to the half rack of ribs that were burnt on one side which had the most sauce on that side. So I sent them back and reordered them.
They came back not as burnt but the meat was dry.
So I didn't eat them and had them taken off my bill.

Next time I'll try a different location.

Pizza was great, staff was very attentive and the oven is visible from the bar so it was neat to watch the kitchen staff rip out pizza after pizza.

Place was top notch. I read some of the negative reviews below and they are out of their minds. Waitress was amazing.owner Adam was amazing.the food was fantastic.restaurant was clean and modern but did not make u feel like u were out of place and this is coming from an old country boy.looking forward to coming back next time around.

Good food, casual dining, good pricing, but.parking is very limited (parking garage close by though), service took a bit too long, and the server rang up our ticket was wrong (overcharged and extra quantity on the drinks). The half rack ribs was very good as was the pizzas.

Food was okay. Waited at the table for an hour exactly before 1 out of 3 entrees were brought out. After that we got our appetizer of cheese bread. Caesar salad tasted too fishy for our liking. Brisket was extremely burnt, almost to the point of not being able to eat. And there were only 4 tables occupied the entire time were here. Waitress was extremely nice.

Smoked wings were delicious. Pizza was good. Burnt ends mac and cheese was promising need more meat. Nothing exceptional but certainly enjoyable.
