2 It was a bit rough with the new ownership but regardless I think the lady was very nice and trying her best and deserves a chance. We talked everything out.
I kept having issues and needing to keep the truck "just one more day" for a week and I felt bad but she worked with me on it and when somebody else eventually reserved the truck out from under me I went and returned it and rented another one later in the week to finish my move (since I needed a break anyway).
I did the after hours pickup initially and I was on hold on the phone with U-Haul stuck outside in the parking lot in the cold for 45+ minutes (most of it on hold). I took an Uber there to pick it up and had no ride home. The truck was not properly provisioned in the system to be picked up digitally, and both the U-Haul guy on the phone and the owner lady here had their own story on how they did their due diligence. Not sure what happened there honestly. I did end up leaving without a truck and had to come back in the morning at opening time, unfortunately. If she had not told me the next morning about how she knew she was new to the system and talked with U-Haul reps and got help over the phone properly registering the truck for after hours pickup the day before, this would have probably been a 2 star review. Trust me, I was LIVID - but I don't want to take it out on the small business owner here that's just trying to run a franchise unless it was really her fault, and that isn't clear.
Super nice she helped me with all my needs would definately recommend to anyone who needs a u haul to go here.
