8Someone tried to log in to my UMB app on my phone (no money taken) which resulted in the worst customer service experience. They locked my account to investigate fraud which takes 10 total business days. Then after those 10 you can re open a whole new account and wait another week at least for a new card to come in. So if someone tries to log in to your app on your phone you’re looking at 3 weeks before you can try to pay a bill! No access to a bank account for 3 weeks…What an absolute joke. Who can live like that. I was also told I needed my iPhone scanned for viruses which Apple Store and T-Mobile both told me is not a thing. I will say James was patient with me with how frustrating this whole process, the one bright spot in this terrible company
I love the Plaza Branch of UMB. Personnel are the most helpful bank staff I have ever come across, and the lobby is so convenient.
I have been a member of this bank for over 50 years. I have had the please of receiving very personal service over these many years.
Horrible service time after time. No exception today. And no, don't suggest to me to use your digital options again. These are cash deposits, from a business. Customer for over 25 years. It's appalling.
I don’t have an opinion about all UMB locations, just the Main St location. As the
Executor of my moms estate I am responsible for making sure $$ is distributed.
I called UMB to set an appointment for me and my sibs.to come sign papers. We arrived at 12: 00. I stood in a very short line (just me) for over 20 minutes! My brother was able to get a lot of work done, on his laptop, while we continued to wait. **VERY LONG STORY SHORT** we closed the account containing less than $3000.00 around 2: 30! Over 2hrs.to close a very small bank account that had no activity since 2016. During this show nobody even offered an apology or explanation for why things were moving so slow.
At one point I thought “we must be getting punk’d! ” No one working there appeared to consider this level of service to be an issue. As I noted under the pictures there was a lot of standing around chatting and little work getting done. When we finally left NO apologies were offered. The lack of professionalism was very evident and disappointing
Who's in charge at this branch office. There are eight cars in line and 7 people standing in the lobby. There are 2 tellers for 15 people waiting. It's 10am on a Friday.
Don’t use the bank. But I do clean the windows. Everyone is always cool in there. In another life it would be cool to work in that building.
