United States Postal Service reviews
15We had 3 appointments to renew passports. Our kids had to end school early, we show up 10 minutes early as asked and they were like oops sorry no one here today does them-someone should have called-not apologetically-rudely. No one called. Go somewhere else if possible.
Horrible place, even though I live 5min away from this location I take the time to drive to the next location further out.
A red haired lady was to help me and my family renewing our passports. She was very short, and provided virtually no customer service. Not sure how she was even hired. Extremely disappointed.
This incident occurred on 7-24-20 at 1: 20 pm. The large black guy that works at this location is very condescending and rude. I witnessed him speaking with an older lady in front of me in line like she was a piece of dirt. Then when it was my turn, I just had a large package to drop off, he said, “didn’t you see the bin when you walked in? ” I’ve never been to this post office before and hadn’t seen it. The box I had barely fit in the cylinder drop off. This guy needs an attitude adjustment big time.
Just horrible and very rude employees. Every time I go there it is a bad experience with their nasty employees. The women working the counter are complete and total trash, not a good look for Kirkwood. Hopefully they will be out of business soon. Would give zero stars if possible and will NEVER return to this horrible location.
Deserves Zero Stars! Paul doesn't know what he's doing. I send out COMs on a daily basis and know that my cost is 0.43¢ per item with 3 or more envelopes. Paul decided all on his own he was going to charge me $1.50 per item. When I pointed out that wasn't correct and should be only 43¢, because I had 4 envelopes, all he had to say was, "I think I know how to do my job. " He then proceeded to rip the postage off my envelopes and all the receipt stickers off of my certificate of mailing destroying all of it. No, Paul, you don't know how to do your job. His attitude was sh*t. He wasn't at all interested in being helpful. He wasted my time, money, and destroyed my letters.
I’ve been to a lot of rude post offices, but this one takes the cake. Also not wearing masks.
I dunno what everyone complains about.
When busy take a number. When not, you'll be asked what you need.
Excellent as any USPS! Stay strong USPS! Love you!
I’ve never had a bad experience here. The staff handle busy lines quickly and knowledgeably. They have always been friendly to me. In ten years using this place I’ve never had a problem.
Also my mail has never been stolen or lost at this location as it has been when I sent mail from other usps post offices.
After working in retail in kirkwood, I suspect the local community expects more time than these employees are compensated for.
I was surprised to see the negative reviews preceding mine. Thanks for keeping the lines short!
Keep up the good work. We appreciate you!
Rude and disinterested staff. One employee was overtly mean and impatient to a kind elderly lady in front of me. The other employee that arrived to help (not the right word.) me had seemingly never spoken to another human before. Honestly quite baffled. The guy up front gets a star for doing his best.
Zero concern or attempt at customer service. They must have a poor culture at this location for people to be so unhappy. Tried to mail a return package. I had a printed return slip and was told that I needed to tape it to the package because they don’t do that. There is no wonder to me why UPS and FedEx are better choices. I would never chose this location or USPS over using the competitors if this is how they behave.
Extremely slow. The box I was returning barely didn’t fit the drop slot and the person working in the back simply ignored me while talking on the phone until I left.
Literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you can even call it customer service. Horrible workers. They should be fired.
I have lived in this house since October and I keep filling out the slip the post man leaves saying I live here and they keep taking it and still not delivering my mail. Sometimes I get mail other times not for weeks and then I get that same note again and I fill it out again and they take it. The problem is my bills they’re only late because of the postal service so please fix this. I tried calling but it’s a 40 minute wait time to speak to someone. Who has 40 minutes to wait on the phone? This is so frustrating
This location is absolutely the worst! Has been for years. Don’t understand why USPS doesn’t do something about this location. Very very slow service, extremely rude and inconsiderate workers and zero customer service. They will go on break with long lines standing in front leaving one person out front. Find another post office in the area. Definitely avoid this place!
