United States Postal Service reviews
13Have had many positive experiences inside this location for many years, helpful staff and quick service. That said, the parking situation outside is consistently a nightmare and very annoying. Wish they'd find a way to carve out some more customer parking in their lot
I am here often, as I sell items online. The staff here is so patient and friendly! They have a package drop off area so you don't have to wait in line if you have prepaid labels, and they scan the packages in a timely manner. This is definitely my preferred location due to the staff's positive attitude and the convenience (e.g. They are opened until 6: 30pm on weekdays).
What a rude and incompetent operation. They’ve shut down the drive-up drop-off boxes, I guess because they can’t be bothered to go empty them.
This office says it is open until 3pm on Saturday. About 2: 40 an obviously handicapped man came to the door, which was locked. He knocked and the staff ignored him. He wasn't comfortable using the automated kiosk, so another customer helped him. Horrible, unfeeling service.
Impeccable customer service! So nice, positive energy, a lot better than the Brentwood location & employees!
I was surprised to see the negative reviews. I’ve been here 3 times and the line has been short and they’ve helped me with all my questions.
Sales associate started yelling at my son for touching gift cards while I was with another associate. I told her I would fix it. Then she said he’s putting it in the wrong spot. I said I would said I would fix it! She did all of while she’s dealing with another customer. I put the cards back once I got done and left! She was just rude! I had to write this same day because it was completely uncalled for!
The parking lot is full of spots clearly labeled Customer Parking Only, that are full of postal vans. They park so the spots next to them aren't usable. The parking lot is almost unusable.
I have a registered mail delivery. I have left signature and directions to postal personnel. No redelivery.
Richmond Heights has the absolute worst mail carriers. Absolutely no regard for delivering mail and packages correctly. I honestly do not think they can read considering how often packages and mail are lost due to being mis-delivered or just lost due to how negligent carriers are. They should be ashamed.
Been standing here for 10 minutes and have not seen a single person working. There’s a line of 8 customers and no one behind any of the 7 windows.
I went here to get my passport as I lost mine. Long story short, go somewhere else for your passport needs! The passport service is rude and unhelpful. And now for the extended version.
The clerk working that day was Sherry. Sherry was the type of person of takes satisfaction in making the whole process as unpleasant and challenging as possible. I brought a picture of my lost passport, driver's license, and the renewal form. She said, "you have to have your birth certificate; I won't even see you unless you have that. " I asked her exactly what else I needed so I had everything when I returned. She just said my birth certificate. I went back home to get that and came back. When I returned, she told me I had the wrong form, even though that was the form I had presented to her earlier, which she said nothing about to me on the first trip there. Sherry did not offer to supply the correct form. She just said I had to get the right one and come back. Upon my return, Sherry then told me that I must report my passport lost and that I needed another form for that. I asked her if she had that form, so I did not have to make another trip back home. Sherry paused, sighed loudly, and then reluctantly reached into her filing cabinet for the form.
I was leaving in 4 weeks for a trip, so I asked her what to do if I didn't receive the expedited passport in time; she told me that if I didn't receive it by December 27 to come back and talk to someone on staff. Well, the 27th came and went, and no passport. So I called the Post Office, and Sherry told me she had never said that. I then relayed again what had happened when I applied for my passport and what she had told me. She sat there arguing with me, repeatedly stating that she did not say that. I finally said, well, you did, but that is beside the point; I need to know what happens if my passport doesn't arrive in time. Then lovely Sherry said, "then you don't go. "
Clearly, Sherry needs some training in customer service and basic decency! However, based on the reviews of this post office, I don't think that will happen any time soon!
Just awful.
Updated review- this place is still awful. I dropped a package in one of their kiosks last week and now 4 days later, the package still hasn't been updated as shipped or scanned since dropping it off at this PO. I only ever go here as a last resort if the other ones are closed, I'll make sure I never make the mistake of going here again.
