University Health Women's Care Lee's Summit

Cannot get an appt.for this to be a while health system things should not be separate. My dr is not there and when I try to go to other locations I have to be established as a new patient or go to planned parenthood what! Women’s health is always on the back burner

I take my daughter here for care. Both NP's we have seen were absolutely THE BEST.
We did have an occasion where the SW came to see us, she was very pleasant and professional.
We have NEVER had an even moderately pleasant interaction with the front desk staff. The have been rude, condescending and dismissive at every single interaction I have had with them.

I called as a new patient and asked a simple question regarding pain management for a procedure and their receptionist was very condescending. I hope that is not how they treat all potential patients.

Debbie was amazing ag the front desk with helping find the right person to see, she took her time and made the experience comforting and positive!

Overall service is good, but need more reps to answer the phone for customer service. About 90% of my calls are never answered, and then when my bill is almost due I receive an annoying abundance of calls. Step it up! ️

University Health is amazing! I’ve seen both Marcia and Aja for an iud insertion/check up. They were both comforting, knowledgeable and friendly. I strongly recommend making an appointment here!

This hospital is horrible. Especially social services. Kelly is a liar, and untrustworthy. Do not share any information with social services about the way you’re feeling. They will call cps on you and hotline you. They held me hostage from 11am -5pm and took all my belongings and didn’t assure me that everything would be okay, they also never offered me food this whole time and I’m 6 months pregnant. I explained that I was in pain and they did nothing to help. Horrible hospital!

Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Avery Legg. My experience with her throughout my whole pregnancy and delivery was unparalleled. She is amazing!

Jennifer is literally the best ultrasound tech I have ever had an experience with. She is super in depth and explains everything you are seeing and makes sure she takes her time. If you are coming here for an ultrasound you are in great hands. Thank you Jennifer. - from a concerned and loving father.

I LOVE the staff here. I never have to wait for my appointment like I’ve had to at other doctor offices.staff here is so caring and friendly. It is clean. It was such a great experience for my first pregnancy and check ups.

I am being seen here by Dr Parisi for my current pregnancy. I saw Dr. Parisi earlier this year at a Truman lakewood clinic for ectopic pregnancy where she rushed me into emergency surgery for internal bleeding. I was then hesitant to go thru a full pregnancy with the location just because of the reviews. The ladies at the front desk were awesome, Dr. Parisi is very thorough and loves what she does and it reflects. I would say, give them a try, see for yourself and leave a review lol. Be Well.

Doctors great, front desk HORRIBLE they all have attitudes and act like they can’t help when asking questions. Get new front desk workers that enjoy being at work and helping others.

Wish I could rate this 0 stars. I have never had such a bad experience with a doctor's office as I have with this one.

Two years ago at an a regular appointment I told the doctor (Dr. Gray) about my family history of breast cancer and asked about a mammogram and the doctor refused to even give me a referral, saying I was too young to get mammograms. The next year I was diagnosed as BRCA1 positive. In 2020 I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at 31 years old. I hope she reads this and feels terrible. I'm really glad I didn't take her advice.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. The receptionists were very unsympathetic & treated patients as if they were less than. They need to realize that we are all human beings experiencing our own struggles. I will pray for them & hope they never experience the hardships some of us are going through.

Dawn Steiner is by far the best ever I cannot express this enough how much I enjoy her as a Dr. She encompasses every part of a woman's well being. She is kind, caring and thoughtful as well as amazing at what she does. Truly a gift from God.

Nicola NRCMA Surgery Coordinator, she didn't return my calls. She stated that was not her only job. She stated that she answered the phone because she saw me calling back to back. She was very rude, horrible customer service non concerned about patient welfare and service. She was overtalking me as well rushing me off the phone. She had originally told me anesthesia and the nurse would call me around noon the day before my surgery. I informed her that I had not heard from either person she went on too say "they will call you they may be busy" but they will call you. The stress and worry of my procedure is enough, then too call your doctors office to be treated very poorly is not acceptable.

If I could give this so called clinic 0 stars I would. The front office staff is rude and does not know how to conduct themselves professionally. They treated my wife as if she was unimportant during each every visit during her pregnancy. They always told us an appointment was for an actual ultrasound, but they would split provider visits up from ultrasounds just to make more money. If you want to enjoy having a baby, avoid this group at all costs.

This is my 2nd pregnancy & first time at this location, I met my OBGYN today. Laura Parisi she is truly an amazing person & doctor! Excited to start my journey with her! My only regret is not meeting her sooner.
