University Plaza Apartments, St. Louis MO

This used to be a really nice place to live. Now there are homeless people sleeping in the trash room, drug users, drug sellers, questionable tenants and University Plaza do not seem to care as long as the check clear. The stairwells are filthy, dried feces, urine and lots of trash that stays there for months. Oh yeah did I mention there’s a bed bug problem. The carpet in the hallways are terrible, elevators are always breaking down and they can’t keep a maintenance person. Don’t bother reporting any of these things because nothing will get done. The building has an odor most of the time from the homeless people coming and going, pissing and sleeping in the stairwells. The building is disgusting and it’s not just from the homeless people. There is a manager on duty Monday through Friday - 8-5 where you can enter the office and take care of your business. She was recently attacked and all they did was put a doorbell on the door and now they keep the door locked. No security to keep any of this from happening. University Plaza and some of the tenants do not care about the University Plaza community. This could be a really nice place to live…if only anyone cared.

Very LGBTQ friendly. Love my unit. Neighbor seem to respect one another.
