Bar Up-Down STL reviews
14Neat lil place. I love it. No complaints other than b n treated poorly for not knowing they don't have sausage pizza. (I Kno, weird) Maybe he just told me that, hence the reason I said I was treated poorly and my "friend" was charged over $240.00 for 6 drinks. The issue was fixed swiftly and we didn't even have to call. They fixed it themselves. That's a plus! Other than that, I love Up-Down
Best place in the whole city. One of the best local date spots in town. Every women I've ever brought their loved it and said they'll never forget the time we had. My favorite place to go weather it had just been a baar day or celebrating with the cheep quarter games you can relive the late 80s and early nintys. Also a decent amount of single women their. The atmosphere is intoxicating all its own. I recommend everubody try this experience.
UpDown is a fun local barcade with themed cocktails, two floors of arcade games, and tasty pizzas. Excellent venue to hang with your friends and vibe the evening away. It can be a bit loud, and there aren't any dairy free, gluten free, or vegan food options, but it's still worth a visit.
Something always broke and it’s normally the basketball and bowling thingy downstairs. Nice vibe though. Dark, chill, lowkey.
A fun place to get a pizza, a beer, and play some old video games and pinball machines. The staff is friendly and knows how to make mixed drinks.
I have never had the food, so I can't rate it. However the arcade is okay. Cute vintage games that bring me back to my childhood. It's a bit grungy looking and I have definitely had issues with games not working properly or eating my coins and doing nothing. Also the ceiling occasionally leaks, which is pretty gross. But a fun time when you're just looking to relive the 80s/90s video games
Best barcade in the area.
Huge selection of games and drinks. Downstairs has some old hidden gems and DDR.
We did run into a lot of games that weren't working but there are so many games in general that it wasn't a huge problem.
This was a fun place with good cocktails and friendly bartenders. It was crowded but still enough room to get around and sit in or outside.
Lovely arcade bar with two levels and lots of winding spaces. You can bring in outside food - not sure to what extent but we were able to bring birthday cake and desserts. We ordered a pizza there and you can also purchase it by the slice. It was tasty. Fine place to go with a group as long as you are okay with splitting up to wander around and play games. They had lots of fun games.
Absolutely great place! Must go place for nostalgia. Is 21+ during certain times but has family times. Order the Jessica Rabbit! Tastes like a pixie stick.
4 stars only because most of the games didn't work. I understand they were retro games and tokens are cheap but it was kind of annoying. Still a cool place
I had been trying to get back here for 2 years. Finally visited on my birthday this year and had a blast plus got 40 free tokens because it was my birthday! I love this place and could have just as much by myself as with other people. And although I didn't have any that night, I have a bias in favor of any place that serves pizza by the slice!
Came in to order pizza slice asked how long ago the pizza was made and she looked at me like I was crazy told me they just came out when I got my pizza it was old dry like it’s been there for at least 3 hours tried a different route for a fresh pizza I’ll order a whole pizza 5 mins later she brings me the 3 hour old pizza from the hot box worst service I’ve ever had anywhere (UPDATE) both me and my girlfriend got very sick after eating 1 slice each
