Uprise Bakery reviews
15Nice spot for lunch downtown. Staff really nice, and service is quick. Sandwiches are very high quality.
Lovely bakery! Everything is homemade with alright prices. Some of the best sandwiches and salada I've tried in my life, and don't forget the cookies too. Fantastic place to eat, not only for campus students but also for families, etc. I recommend it 100%
Uprise is a great coffee shop and I really like the sandwiches and soups. It's got a really great vibe and I love to see the movies that are coming up.
Really loved coming here because of the lattes & food but my experience today put me off from wanting to come back. I moved away and decided to visit while in town. My boyfriend, our dog and I walked in and before we could even put in our order the lady came around the counter and said dogs aren’t allowed in the bakery and that they have an outdoor patio. We explained we just wanted to get a couple pastries to go and not eat there. She repeated in a snide tone that dogs aren’t allowed inside. We just left without spending any money at the establishment. We could understand if we sat inside to then say something but we didn’t even get a chance to order, it felt rude and not welcoming at all.
Best fresh baked bread in town! I love going for their baguettes, ciabatta, and rolls to use for bruschetta, soups, and sandwiches!
Just went to see a presentation for the book festival, but they had mushroom barley soup on the menu.one of my favorites
Got 2 bowls-one for myself and one to pass on. Great soup, great bread.and great service
Best croissants and soup in town! Also great sandwiches, and of course wonderful breads. Nice patio seating
Very good coffee, ham and Swiss quiche was excellent with some tossed spring greens on the side. Enjoyed a scrumptious brownie.
Looking up the restaurant after meeting the owner I discovered that I've been passing by this bakery for years and never took notice. Today I had a Reuben and also discovered a comfortable dining area in which I could eat my delicious Reuben sandwich. I will return to Uprise Bakery very soon and bring my wife to also enjoy something off the menu.
Everything here always hits the spot. I love that it’s all prepared in house and freshly made. That helps them stand out from most other bakeries
Convenient location with tasty and fresh products, love the soups and French style breads. Ideal for a morning or lunch bite.
A unique and brilliant Columbia institution
Great food, great vibes, welcoming atmosphere
It's clear their bread is super fresh, the best in Columbia by a mile. They have great vegetarian and vegan options along side traditional offerings.
The mini mushroom turnovers and spinach turnovers are incredible. The mini mushroom ones actually wowed us and we’re gonna be stuck trying to find something similar somewhere or find a recipe ourselves now.
We were only briefly in town visiting from Michigan and just walked by this place and decided to hop in one morning for coffee, and we feel very lucky that we did.
Food is always quick and quality is superb. Highly recommend for anyone to try out the place if you’re in Columbia, MO.
