Urgent Care of Kansas City, Independence MO

We really appreciated the care and concern all the staff showed. We loved the doctor's bedside manner and this was all around the best urgent care experience that we've had!

We went here and waited several hours in the waiting room and never got seen because we had to leave to get to an appointment. Urgent care should not be over a 3 hour wait in the waiting room when no one is ahead of you. The lady at the desk was telling everyone who called and came in that there wasn't a long wait. Completely ridiculous! I would not ever return to this place and I definitely wouldn't recommend.

Thanks so much for the prompt, wonderful, exceptional care that I received from your clinic! Each of you, from the receptionist who guided me through the check-in process, to the very kind friendly nurse that triaged me, and last but certainly not least, thank you to the caring, down to Earth Physician, who I could tell honestly seems to enjoy what he's doing, and it seems he did a great job diagnosing and then reminding me just how important it really is for me to stay on top of my health problems.
He should be happy to know that I've already called and made me several much overdue appointments to hopefully get myself up and in better health all around.
I want to say a big thanks to the staff at Urgent Care of Kansas City who attended to all of my needs last night.you know who you are.
I will most definitely refer all of my friends and family to your clinic.

They listen to me and Always diagnose me correctly. Great staff. And get me the help i need and i dont have to wait hours and hours.

Horrible service. Went in to be seen because I’ve been there before a couple times so they would already have my insurance card on file. Told me I was lying because they don’t have my information on file. And laughed at me and spoke to me like I’m an idiot. I’m glad they didn’t have my insurance on file because I’ll be damned if my hard earned money went to this group. Learn some damn empathy and a better attitude or get out of the healthcare profession.

The nurse practitioner took a lot of time with me and explained everything very well! I would highly recommend this place!

My mom was seen quickly by a competent and caring nurse practitioner. The facility was clean and the staff was warm and helpful.

The entire staff is friendly and great attitudes. From the receptionist to the doctor they are all great! No cap!

The nurse and check in process was amazing. She was so kind and helpful. This is a really nice facility with great parking and easy access. But the nurse practitioner V. B. Was rude, condescending, and did not take my daughter’s condition seriously. I wonder if maybe others have experienced this same treatment and is why this Urgent Care place is not even busy. This NP could benefit from some patient interaction and communication skills training.

Valerie is very empathetic and thorough. Sara was working hard and had great attention to detail. I felt very cared for her, with additional regard to follow up care and plan after my visit, to continue getting better.

Needed stitches for a cut on my thumb came in 30 minutes before they closed. They didn't mind staying 30 minutes late to take care of me. If I went to the ER I would have been there all night. Highly recommend going here instead.

Every time I've been in there, the staff is respectful, service is efficient & the care is quality. Couldn't ask for more!

Anna and Valerie are so thorough and personable. They do not rush at all. Front desk lady is very nice also.

I was recommended this Urgent Care by my neighbor. The nurse, who was working front desk and back office, was wonderful. Very kind and pleasant. The doctor was the same. Personable, listened to my concerns, spoke in laymen's terms so his explanations were easy to understand, and talked to me as if we were I were his neighbor, not just another patient to get in and out of the office. I appreciated their concerned and caring attitudes. I'll definitely recommend them to others.

This place is horrible, they walked in and said what do you need? Did you call your doctor? And I said yes but it's getting worse, he said what do you want me to do about it?

I am glad that we have a urgent care close to home that we can go to when we have a medical problem.
