VAC - Voluntary Action Center, Columbia MO

Just found out Arthur is not with VAC anymore and that is sad. He was professional, caring, knowledgeable and easy to work with because of his many years of dedicated service. I'm not sure why they hired Sidney who is the exact opposite. Heaven forbid you have a foreign sounding name because dealing with Sidney made me feel very discriminated against, as if she didn't want to provide services to someone with a non "American" name. I didn't even want to ask for help initially because I have family here. But after having an injury and my car totaled by a red light runner and not allowed to work or drive for months, I'm out of options. I'd rather NOT be provided with services if I had to deal with someone like Sidney. How awful people must feel to be so desperate and then to hear that tone and that attitude come across from her as well to push them even lower. I won't be recommending VAC unless she is retrained compassionately in diversity or more Arthurs are hired.

Very helpful and good people I recommend for more people in need to reach out to them for help.
