Valvoline Instant Oil Change, St. Louis MO

I was that person that waited until the end of the month to get my emissions test. I had to wait a little (as expected), but then was greeted by the friendliest employee, Ernie. He explained everything he was doing in detail and was very efficient and professional. I would have expected someone to be crabby with the amount of cars in line that also procrastinated, but not Ernie. He was nothing but pleasant! Thank you Ernie!

Have been going here for over 3 years. Staff friendly. Always very knowledgeable. And not to mention I GET IN AND GET OUT. I literally skip 2 other valvolines just to come to this location.

Went in for an inspection on January 27,2023. My suggestion to the Valvoline corporation is give the young man that's doing inspections at the Telegraph location in Saint Louis county (63125) a raise and a promotion. Do whatever is necessary to keep him in your employment. He's a hustler and has remarkable customer service skills.

Had a great experience getting my emissions test done. Harley was very nice and got me in and out quick.

Damaged my oil pan and lied about what happened. Took several phone calls and telling them I'll take them to court if they don't pay the whole repair bill. The area manager finally agreed to pay for repairs.

Nice crew there I stay less then two minutes from the valvoline on watson in crestwood but I always go to this one in and out friendly staff I love them all

Fast and friendly. Do thorough checks, but they can be pushy about upsetting and their prices are super high

Car ahead of me in and out in about 30 min. Went over everything with me didn't try to push extra stuff on me, which is always pleasant. Courteous and efficient.

They put the wrong oil in my car twice so now I have to go to a different place and pay another $100 just to get the right oil in

Just left and the main guy that helped me was very friendly and helped me choose the best options. The other guys that helped in getting me out of the bay were all really nice as well. Felt like everyone was working well together and getting everyone taken care of quickly with great service!

Told me my battery was great, at 100%. My battery died, wouldn't even turn on the radio, dashboard, nothing. Also told me my brakes looked great. Needed new brake pads within the week.
After talking to someone these places will"zap" the battery to check if it can hold a full charge. This puts a lot of stress on the battery and can cause it to die.
DECLINE ALL CHECKS, IF YOU'RE THERE FOR AN OIL CHANGE THAT ALL YOU NEED. Get a real mechanic to check the health of your car.

I am always pleased with the service I get from Valvoline, but the team at this location today went above and beyond. They had just closed the inspections lane because he was done for the day and getting ready to go home. No worries, I said I could come back for the testing and would just get my oil change today. The inspections guy overheard me say that and offered to stay and do the tests for me so I wouldn't have to come back. I was surprised and very grateful. I felt these guys did great work and they deserved a shout-out. Thank you so much!

After getting an oil change, I had to come back twice to get my skid plate fixed, but once I got Siah, everything has been great! Siah provides excellent service!

I always go to a small family owned car shop but I needed an oil change and the shop is only open week days (only downside) so I went to Valvoline, close to my home and quick and easy oil change. All staff were friendly and explained the services.

A good value as far as time and money spent.no high pressure sales.also the value in the over all inspection of belts, fluids, wipers and tires let's you know what needs attention and what does not.this service is cost effective to the consumer in the value of replacement and repair in a timely manner.
