Valvoline Instant Oil Change, Lee's Summit MO

Love not having to get out of my car. I was behind 2 cars and was out of there in 45 min. Very friendly staff, they even found me a coupon for $25 off. Thank you for the good service, I will recommend to friends.

I don’t recommend this place at all. There is only one working 4 standing around 5 vehicles waiting. Accident does happen but when you tell me you are gonna to clean the oil off my engine and it was still all over top and bottom look at the pictures. I do not recommend this place at all. I should make you pay for a detail. Very unhappy. And these pictures or after they said they clean everything. Bad JOB 8/14/23 9: 00 The owner should reviewed the cameras.

Had oil changed and noticed we were leaking oil shortly after. I brought it up and the manager said the filter was a full turn too loose. Lost over a quart on my driveway. I took it back up and a different manager said the filter was still loose. He made it right and gave us a fresh oil change and made sure we didn't need visit #4. He kept our business but the young kid in the pit needed better attention to detail.

Tho it might've been the busiest Valvoline in the country, they were INCREDIBLY fast. The guys were very kind and thorough. They made sure they went over everything with me and was kind and gentle to my big duley truck. They said they get a lot of angry customers because of how busy they are. But I think it's a bunch of angry Karen's who don't want to wait in line. If you want to wait in your car bring something to entertain yourself like an adult.

Standard oil change place nice that they don't pressure too hard for add on services.

You can tell the staff was very new they we’re forgetting some steps in the process, but they made sure I left with everything taken care of i would come back

I pulled up in the driveway to get air in my tires. A guy came out and told me to let the car on my right in front of me! I told him I wouldn’t do that and he said if you don’t we won’t service you so I left! Never going back there.

They’re fine they do the job but the customer service and wait time is horrible. Also if you are anything but an older man they will try and sell you random stuff.

Groupon saved the day again. The guys out on 40 hwy. Very kind and did not try to press any other products on me. Thank you!

Absolutely atrocious service. Had to go to a mechanic after getting my vehicle serviced here. Customer support failed to do anything to make things right.

Another vehicle arrived after me and the Valvoline fellas honored my place in line. Always in and out, they topped off my shiper fluid! Thank You.

We have used this location multiple times with multiple cars and now this-so disappointed. My husband took his car in for an oil change and before he got home (15 min drive-if that) he noticed it wasn't driving right and by the time he got home he had white smoke coming from the exhaust. We took it to the dealership and it had twice the amount of oil it should have had in it. $600 later (that's not even counting the parts that were covered under warranty) and now we have an engine light on (mostly likely they ruined the catalytic converter as well). They watched the video and are saying nothing went wrong. They said when you left here it was fine. When talking with corporate and to the store manager I'm being told the Area Manager is going to deny the claim and they will just close it. They also stated there is no one to escalate to. No one above the Area Managers will do anything about the claim. I should not have to pursue legal action for a human/mechanical error.

Highly recommend! These guys know their stuff. So quick and easy and you never have to leave your car! Extremely courteous! Very reasonably priced. I will definitely use this service again!

My wife couldn't get her SUV into the normal service center she goes to for an oil change. She found this Valvoline that was close and not busy. Speed and interaction was fine, but 2 days later she says that something is dragging from the front bottom of her vehicle and she is stuck in a parking lot. After going to check it out I found that the air intake manifold was on the ground. This is removed to change the oil in a 2011 Ford Explorer SUV and has thumb (2) thumb screws that hold it in place. They obviously weren't tightened because there is nothing wrong with them. I refastened them and the manifold was secured fine. While I was under I inspected the oil filter and there was oil running off of it. I don't know if they spilled some or didn't tighten the filter, or finally if there's a leak in the engine. If the engine was leaking they should have brought it to her attention, now I'm going to have to take it to another shop to be checked out. Finally they over filled the SUV with oil and it's above the max mark on the dip stick. I can't believe the level of incompetence in a simple oil change.
