13I visited the Tesson Ferry Valvoline location today. The gentlemen who took care of me today were such a pleasure to interact with. The employees working topside all had such a great rapport and a positive energy about them. I mostly interacted with Auston; he was helpful, funny, energetic, and engaged. As soon as I pulled into the bay, Auston was being sarcastic and making me laugh. Raso joined the conversation a few times and was also so friendly and fun. Excellent customer service experience. This is a great team working here currently! Keep it up, everyone! That Civic, though, guys? !? !
They wouldn't tell me how long the line was and I can go somewhere else so I did. I went to Walmart and got my oil changed. Seems strange to turn away business from possible customers in this kind of an economy but hey, whatever.
I contacted the store to find out how long their wait times were approximately and they treated it like it was a trade secret and you can't tell anybody. And then repeatedly explaining to me that the number of people in line could change before I get there as though lines are some new technology that most people are too stupid to understand how they work.
I told them I'm not going to drive 20 mins.not knowing if there was a 15-ish minute wait or a 15-hour-ish wait. So I guess I'll just make a appointment somewhere else. They said okay and that was the end of it. They don't care if they're turning away customers.
Okay, so I went ahead and made an appointment with Walmart of all places.
I guess Valvoline instant oil change doesn't care if they have customers.
They don't care about how long you wait. Not communicative. THREE people behind me in line got serviced before me.
Everyone has knowledge, very personable, and gives you the best deal. I had a light on my dash say I was due for an oil change, but it was a short. My car truly wasn't due for an oil change we yet. They showed me how to disengage dash alert, checked my oil & fluids and filled my tires. No cost! Just great service! In 1000 miles I will be back there a 5th or 6th time to get my oil changed. Huge fan!
It had to wait a little longer than I would have liked, but they did a really nice job once they got me in. I would definitely go back here again.
I've been going their for a long time, and I've never had any major issues with them.

Ok for oil changes - they've been after me to get a transmission fluid change, both in person and by email and when I finally cave to the pressure they can't even do a transmission flush on the type of car I even have.
A well oiled machine. Manager has a great attitude. It runs off on his employees. Top level service
Took my vehicle in for a simple oil change. Air filter wasn't put back on properly. Should've never been taking off to begin with. And vehicle is now driving sluggish and stalls out! Been coming here for 9 years! These new guys are careless. Definitely won't be back
