Verandas Apartments, Springfield MO

I've lived here for a little over 2 years and have loved it. Everything is well maintained and any services needed are timely and professional. The staff have all been wonderful - always friendly, helpful, and make a point to remember everyone's names.

I can’t recommend the Verandas enough. As a travel nurse finding decent, temporary housing is a nightmare but they made it so easy. Management is fabulous and quick to respond. They furnished my apartment so well I haven’t had to worry about a thing. The community is SO nice, as a single female I have always felt so safe living here. All of my neighbors are quiet, The apartment is beautiful and the grounds well kept. It has truly felt like a home. I’ll be sad to leave. They will definitely be my first call if I ever make it back into the area for another contract.

I have lived here for almost 3 months! So far the experience has been absolutely amazing! Josh is so kind and always has a smile on his face. The complex is clean and quiet!

I've been living here about a month and I absolutely love it! My apartment is beautiful and looks brand new. I love the white doors/time paired with the dark cabinets/fixtures. The ceilings are really high and the space feels open. I got to experience the pool and hottube before the end of the season and I have to say that is my favorite amenity here. The gym is also a favortie of mine and I use it often. They have all the equipment I need for a good workout and even a half court basketball court! People around here are friendly and keep to themselves. The staff here is super nice and helpful. Josh King, the current manager is always quick to respond to my questions and needs. I also love the location.

My wife and I moved in this past July, when we moved in the apartment was clean and has been amazing. When the property management changed, the transition was fairly smooth and both have been amazingly understanding and patient with us through some financial difficulties. The property is kept clean and neat, we have good neighbors and the fitness center is well maintained.

Overall a great experience here at Verandas. The property and units are very well maintained. The residents are very kind. The best part about this property is the Management, they're extremely helpful and friendly. I had a situation come up and they went above and beyond to help me out. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that is looking.

Pros: nice apartments for the price, internet was great, no lag at all, maintenance is good, the people kept to themselves. Wasn't really much of a community i found unless you moved in with others. Most of the time it was dead quiet especially at night which was nice. I was there for four months and there were only 2 times when partiers did their thing at 2-5 in the morning.and that was the LAST time they did their thing.impressive

Great library down the street and a walmart a sams and a zaxbys around there. I would go up republic road.springfield is more than just Campbell and Battlefield street, wish I had done jt sooner.

Cons: some unpleasant people in management work here. I tried to avoid them. I secured my apartment back in January, get a call saying that I can move in earlier so instead of March I could go in February if I want because the tenants left earlier.

I get there in March, 2 weeks earlier than my lease starts and at this point past February.but they can't give me the apartment.why? Because they had to do cleaning on it.why didn't they do that when they said the tenets were moving out in February instead of March? Just terrible customer service.had to rent a hotel for a couple of weeks because of that. And they would not back down from that. I went inside the apartment when I got there and everything was clean before they said they had to clean it.

And they took their time to clean it out. 2 to 3 weeks and they weren't done until surprise, the day my lease started.

Pro/con: not sure if this is a pro or a con but there are a ton of dog lovers there

Getting ready to sign a lease and the staff has been super helpful and answered all my questions. They seem to go above and beyond for their tenants and I’m excited to move in here.

Moved here a little less than a month ago. There are pros and cons.
Pros: Maintenance is quick to respond and fix things. My AC was out when I moved in and they got someone out to fix it within two days. My apartment is really nice on the inside. The ceilings are high and the hardwood floors and cabinets look nice. My apartment was clean when I moved in. The office staff are really friendly and helpful. Internet service is strong.
Cons: I moved here for quite and security and there is not much of either here. I was told security was high here but I have yet to see a security vehicle. There are people who do not live here at the gym and pool almost every night causing a disturbance and throwing garbage and alcohol containers everywhere. When security is called they do not show up. As far as noise, my building backs up to Springfield Warrior Sports and every day (except Sunday) they have their music so loud that it shakes my apartment. Add that to neighbors next to me who have a toddler that screams all day and late into the evening and it is not good since I work an early shift job. They stopped providing cable service to the residence last month so you have to pay that on your own now, which for as much as it costs to live here should really still be provided.
They need to switch security companies and have security posted at the entrances/exits at night to make sure only residence are entering the premises. They need to ask nearby businesses to be mindful that people actually live here and keep the music at a reasonable level and have more strict noise regulations for the residence.

I have lived here at the Verandas since March and I have loved the apartments themselves. Everything is very clean and maintenance is fast if there are any issues. The grounds are always kept very nice and the noise level is very quiet. Residents in my apartment are very friendly and going to the pool and visiting with everyone has been a blast as well.

I have had some issues with getting in contact with management on multiple occasions since I have been here and I am not sure if this is a staffing issue but it continues to be a problem.

EDIT: Today a staff member reached out to me to talk about my concerns and to ask for feedback. Although this does not immediately clear up the issue of communication, I am happy that someone reached out to try and fix an issue. I look forward to seeing better communication here at the Verandas.

Living at the Verandas was a great experience. Justice was kind and would drop anything to help us out! The property was always so clean and the units were great!

Lived here for 2 years while in college and it was great! Great location and Andrew is an awesome manager!

I moved into here in mid-July after a road trip halfway across the country. We arrived right as the office was closing, but Andrew stayed to help move me in and was very patient with our arrival. The apartment is spacious with tall ceilings, and everything was very clean and ready for my arrival. It was an easy move in and I've loved living here! Very quiet and very dog friendly. Highly recommend.

Renting with Verandas was far and away the best renting experience I have ever had. Andrew was so kind and helpful with any questions and through the move in/out process. Maintenance requests were completed asap. The property is kept so nice and parking lots well lit. And the units are great. I honestly was sad to have to move out. I can’t say enough good things about this property!

I currently rent with TLC properties & love it. I called yesterday to ask about availability on this property & got on the phone with Andrew. Even though the availability wasn’t quite what I was hoping for, Andrew was so kind & took the time to tell me about possible options at other TLC properties!

I had a great experience living at the Verandas. Management was great, the apartments are very nice, and there are so many great amenities!
