Victor Ivan Gomez Lorenzo, MD, Springfield MO

I had an appointment at 8: 40 this morning to establish care with doctor Lorenzo. My 7 year old daughter's bus broke down and it was late. The bus arrived at 8: 37 iver 30 minutes late. I called Mercy to let them know that I'm on my way, but I'll be a few minutes late and I was told that they will let them know and see me when I get there. When I got there I was told that she has to check with doctor Lorenzo to see if he will still see me since I'm 5 minutes past my 15 minutes period which I understand that. So I asked to reschedulehen again. The receptionist said she will have to go and talk to him about it. She was told that I have to establish care with someone else. He refusesed to let me establish care with him because of five minutes and had no control over the bus braking down. I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks which it triggered it and I barely made it to my truck before I broke down. That's one of the reasons i went to see him for. He may be a great physician but from my experience this is what I have to say about him. Very disappointed I wish Dr. Taylor was still with Mercy. He was a great physician and wouldn't never do that. I have never been late or missed my appointment. But luge happens with out controlling it

Dr. Gomez is the most outstanding physician I have ever had! I've never met a more knowledgeable, compassionate man like him. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone seeking a new primary care provider. You will be seen as the most important person to him when you are there! We need all physicians with his humility and ki dness!

I absolutely love Dr Gomez! He’s an amazing doctor. Extremely hard to get an appointment with him most of the time, but I know I can send a message on my Mercy and he will usually be the one to answer, unless he’s out of the office. His MA, on the other hand, it’s another story. Mikaela is very rude, in person and in messages sent. She acts like it’s an inconvenience for her to do her job. I cringe when I think about having to deal with her. If it wasn’t for her, the entire experience would be perfect. She needs to learn better people skills.

Very Dr. Gomez is a wonderful caring Dr. He straightened out my medications that had been overlooked and helped me with my auto immune diseases. He will refer specialists immediately when needed. Thank you Dr. Gomez!

He is a great Dr. He takes the time to listen to me and is actually concerned about what is going on with my health.

I really appreciate Dr. Gomez. He answers his messages and takes the time to answer all of your questions. My FMLA leave paperwork was filled out in a timely manner. I am very thankful for the quality of care we receive.

Horrible service to FMLA paperwork. Had it for 1 week and to no response my mom has been moved out of hospital to a nursing home and still no response from none of his staff. I have called everyday for a week and all you get we will get this to the doctor. Poor service for family members and needs
