Village Washtub, Springfield MO

Second time this week went to do laundry before 7: 00 pm and both times the doors were locked the first time the guy told me they were closed this was before seven pm the second time a different guy was mopping and acted like he never saw me all the doors were locked again before seven pm. Bad business.

This establishment is absolutely the kind of atmosphere you're worried about encountering when looking for a laundromat. When I put my laundry in the washer I noticed about 10 minutes in it was producing smoke and a burning rubbery smell. When I told the attendant about it I was told to put my clothing in a different washer, which they did fortunately cover. One of the receptionists passed by and made a comment to someone else saying it was my fault because I "put too much clothes in the load" which was absolutely not true. I cut my laundry into two separate loads to avoid something like that. All the washers and dryers are incredibly run down. The dryer never fully dried my clothes no matter how much money I pooled in. The only nice thing I have to say is that the attendant is very kind. Avoid Village Washtub- they're rude, rundown, and you're absolutely guaranteed to be scammed.

Way to expensive for the machines. $9.75 for just two washers. And using their huge dryer. YOU have to keep it shut yourself, if you don't it just pops open and doesn't heat. I've used these before and a good 50lbs of clothes can dry in like 5 cycles, I'm now $4 in. ¢25 each cycle mind you. Just don't go here.

This place is amazing it's really cheap to wash everything. The only reason for 4 stars is because I feel like that the dryers should give u more than 5 minutes for 25 cents. Most of my money was spent on the dryer. I came in with $25 and I used 6 washers and only spent $12 but the rest of my money went to the dryers. I know it's a business and they need to make money but 25¢ for only 5 minutes is rediculus. But other than that this place is amazing.

They have friendly and helpful staff. This place offers and honors a frequent customer push card system which rewards people with a free double wash load and later a free triple wash load upon filling out the required punch count.

Staff was very friendly did a great job on wash and fold service.if I had to find something to complain about it's the fact they don't have a way of accepting electronic payment debit card and no ATM so your best go with coins or cash

My fiance and I drove across town to come here every wk. The couple that works on the wkends make us feel like family their the reason why we keep coming back every wk.

The staff was very welcoming helpful nice their washed and dries was cheap and very effective the dryers work really good

I love going into the village Wash tub they are so friendly in there the staff is so helpful anytime you need quarters they're there to get you one

What an amazing place, walked in to do some laundry while traveling and before we even got our clothes in the washer the attendant welcomed us and said thanks for coming in and handed us an envelope of change that a local church gives them to donate to people, we were beyond grateful but knowing there are so many people that are more in need of this then us we did not accept but we were beyond grateful to have been offered this, highly recommend this place also extremely affordable

I have gone here for 15+ years and will drive across town to get here. They are clean and very friendly. Betsy and buddy are the best! Highly recommend them!
