Vintage Stock, Liberty MO

Came in looking for some N64 and PS4 games. Ducky was super informative and extra helpful. We will definitely be back.

As much as I love going to Vintage Stock, I have heard a lot of things about how the staff are treated by managers. I love collecting music and figures, but I just can't help but feel an overwhelming amount of guilt every time I walk in.:/

Always enjoy coming in and seeing what new stuff they have in stock. Never know what you'll find in there!

The store still had a “buy 2 get 1 free” sign but at checkout I was told that they forgot to take it down. So they didn’t honor it. The woman at checkout was rude about it. Stores usually honor their mistakes but not this one apparently ‍️

It has a selection. It's got a little of everything. But when I asked for help haha they said "well did you look first? " Yes, I've been in the store 30 minutes & have a handful of stuff I WAS going to purchase, but when I came back 10 minutes later to just see if I was just not seeing it. She HUFFED & said "in a minute" welllll I put everything on the counter & told her to have a good day.

Maybe better lighting in there would help. They had 6 people behind the counter, I know I wasn't the only one asking for help.

Employees are friendly but some get distracted by their current chore (opening new boxes of inventory) so customer service quality will vary. You can get some good deals on the older stuff (cds, games, consoles, dvds, action figures, etc.) and okay trade-in values for store credit. Their brand new stuff is higher than what you can find online and they won't budge on sticker price.

Don't buy a console here. Selling xbox series x for $599 plus you have to buy a controller and game.best buy in liberty is getting shipments every Friday morning for $499. No bundle. No nothing. "It's to prevent scalpers. " Okay what about people that already have everything they need for a new console. I have an elite pro 2 controller as well as game pass ultimate. You're the scalpers.

Very nice store, lots of music, video games, comics, pops, etc more items than i can list. The staff was ok some where knowledgeable of the items in the store others were not. But that didnt deminish the experience. We will return.

The shopkeep let me keep my drink, definitely awesome:) and as the name implies, most if not all your vintage needs can be met here.

Went it for the Labor Days sales and found soooo much more than expected Yes it was busy, but the staff was handling it really well. Found so much stuff! Definitely coming back and stocking up!

7/9/22 bought a NEW copy of the game the quarry for Xbox one. Drove all the way home put it in my console wouldn’t play because they gave me the Xbox series x disk, which is $10 dollars more! They also branded it NEW! Went back to the store and just wanted a refund of the cash I paid back they refused even though I let them know I had the more expensive copy. Did not have a manager when I asked why they wouldn’t simply refund me when they be losing money his/her response was “it’s not my money”. Been coming here since I was a teenager but no longer. When a game is considered new it should still be wrapped with all the internals so things like this don’t happen. Thanks for the inconvenience!

I was in this particular store today (7-23-22). And the manger already had an bad attitude. She was not hiding it well. I witnessed a customer ask a question about a product behind a locked case. The customer was polite and ask what they were selling for the price in the box. The staff member went to talk with said manger and came back with the stuff had been stolen and they didn’t know. They told him they aren’t selling the box anymore. EXCEPT. Upon looking at what they were discussing it was a warhammer box. They are selling a box that had 2 arms in it and the rest of the pieces that were already built for separate prices. When they were caught they manger kicked them out of the store. Instead of handling it like an adult and like a professional business owner. Poor show of class on her part. Either this store and their staff never look up what they sell OR The manger is just wanting to scam her customers. Either way both the store and the customer service has gone down hill super fast. I won’t be coming back to this particular store. And I warn anyone that shops here know what you are buying for they will over charge you and not give you the right things.

Well educated staff on movies, games and music. Can find anything your searching for and everything is cool. Great atmosphere

They are always so friendly and helpful! They were great helping me today get s specific box set from the Topeka location. And that location was super nice and helpful as well. LOVE VINTAGE STOCK!

Awesome place. They have everything from play station one games to star wars memorabilia. If you're looking for the missing piece of your game or pop culture collection this is the place to go. This is among the last of a dying generation of retail stores.
