V's Italiano Ristorante, Independence MO

I went on a Saturday evening and it was very busy. I had the trio entree with a salad. I will say that I wasn't overly impressed with the meal. I think Olive garden is comparable. It wasn't gross but I remember thinking, "This is it? " The service and ambience was great and I'd return! I also got the V's margarita and wasn't disappointed at all however I would be fine if I never got it again. Basically food was meh but the rest of the experience was great- five stars!

Our first time and we will be back. The food was outstanding. The service and atmosphere were great as well.

V's, as always, is outstanding. The owners are wonderful people. They strive to deliver a superior product to their customers, genuinely care about their employees and try to give back when they can. For a family owned business to last as long as this one has, you know that they have to be doing something right.

It was our first time in this restaurant. And they are awesome the food was very very delicious better than Olive Garden. & the atmosphere was really nice the owner & staff was very friendly. Very nice Italian restaurant. We love it

Mom wanted to eat brunch there for her birthday. Like a hotel continental breakfast for 26 dollars. Bacon stuck together, eggs watery, people picked through the shrimp tortellini to take all the shrimp out. Served a cold cinnamon roll for desert. Won't be back

We went for my birthday. What a wonderful time. Great food and great staff. We will definitely be back.

Pasta was fantastic, prime rib was pretty good. The cake they include with dinner was lacking. Plain and boring. But the pasta was amazing and more than made up for it. We had a sampler appetizer that was amazing too!

Did the lunch buffet. Are a little of everything. My favorite was spaghetti and meatballs and the lasagna. But everything was good.

We have been going here for over 20 years, and we always make sure to go on our anniversary each year. Amazing food as always. Thank you so much!

Have visited many times and each time it's great

I've been coming to V's since I was a kid. I love the atmosphere. I usually make it in a couple a times a year. My Birthday was yesterday and I decided to stop in V's for a late lunch off the happy hour menu. I had the Bruschetta and the seafood stuffed mushrooms. Bruschetta was decent, but the mushrooms weren't. The seafood portion was one puny shrimp placed in the mushroom cap and some sort of stuffing placed over it. The dish didn't even taste Italian. No garlic or basil flavor to it. I'm in the restaurant industry and I just shut up and ate it. Definitely disappointed.

Food was good, but 2 of 3 entree's were cold and both were baked dishes. Long wait for food. Still one of my favorite places for Italian since my childhood.

The pasta trio was excellent and the pizza was really good. I liked the Italian dressing on the house salad. Loved the cannoli.
The only negative was the butter with the bread instead of dipping oil

I visited during lunch and had the buffet. All dishes were fresh and tasted amazing. The staff take great pride in their food and ensuring all customers were well cared for.
