Waffle House, Excelsior Springs MO

Great food, I always injoy going to eat there in the mournings. Amazing staff, could use more seats in store but nothing to really complain about.

What can I say! First I love breakfast! Second I love good service. Everyone I come here I get served by the same waitress and she makes the juice just a little sweeter every time! Go see her name is Elle. Oh and it's always real chill in there. Late night all right!

What an awful experience. First I will say the food was delicious!
Everything else was a hot hateful mess! The servers didn't acknowledge the customers coming in the door. There were three dirty tables and people waiting and they never attempted to clean them off. She just continued to sweep and mop the floor. Leaving the floor a soaking wet mess during a clearly busy busy Sunday brunch rush! One customer got tired of waiting for a table and cleaned off his own table and they were rude to him and let him sit there 10 mins with out acknowledging him and his kids were even there. Another couple came in and were going to sit and wait at one of the dirty tables and the sever bit their head off not once but twice! The servers looked mad the moment we entered the door that they actually had customers. It was the most uncomfortable dining experience I hve ever had! I am still having a very hard time wrapping my head around everything I just witnessed at this waffle house!

I always get the All Star breakfast and I am never disappointed. They have the best bacon as well!

Went to this Waffle House at 6 pm. We were turned away at the door because the one man working said he was getting ready to clean the grill and it would take at least 30 minutes. I suggested maybe a sign on the door would be good so people would know and not waste their time since the sign said open. We went to a restaurant next door and watched two other people go in and be seated And be served. We are Waffle House regulars so this was not cool!

I think they were on autopilot cause I didn't really hear much spoken between them, but we got exactly what we ordered, cooked to perfection. Over easy eggs that had every little bit of white done and all runny yolk.
Add to that a double smothered, chunked, cheese hash browns, again, perfectly prepared. Mmmm mmmm.

This gonna be my Oldman spot! Got a dive bar Cafe kind of feel. Perfect amount of danger with my breakfast. Lol.

Overpowering smell of bleach. Staff is awesome overnight and early morning, but wanes in afternoon and evening. The food is great! Always fresh, hot, and exactly what we ordered.

I had a great experience here with the night shift, specifically, Elle! She was working her butt off running around waiting on like 25 people by herself! She was sweet and thoughtful and went above and beyond for our table! She deserves a raise. I will eat here again for sure

I feel like this restaurant has good prices for the amount of food you get. I've ate here 3 times in the past month and each visit was satisfying.

Every time we come here over half of the tables are dirty no clean tables in place to sit so the cook tolds us to sit found a table and they would clean it that didn't happen we sit there for 20 minutes then the waitress got hateful to us and said we need to move then she would clean it she was very nasty about it if she would've asked we would of moved but this place is always dirty Every time we come here there's something wrong it's a dirty place I use to came here every weekend but I'l found another place it's needs better service I won't be back again

Not sure what that Sandra? Susan? SARAH Covert was talking about. Dezi or Dezarae as her name is spelled is sweet. Maybe a touch sassy but that’s how Waffle House girls should be! I never have a bad time here. Love the Waffle House family. Management is a different issue altogether right now. But the cooks and servers are always so sweet even though the high schoolers are always SO BUSY with school stuff. And then to work on top of that? Dang!

This place was what was expected. I go to Waffle House for an escape from a materialistic society.

I go there to get food at a reasonable price.

I go there knowing that the staff will be friendly.

At the same time, I see that WH is a place people go to economize. They know what the atmosphere is. They know that the staff will be friendly, but don't expect 4 star service.

Why does Dezera or however you spell her name still have a job there? She literally sits down at every opportunity all the other employees are DOING HER JOB. Serverly disappointed in today's visit.

I ordered to go and the Waffle House server brought the food to my car! So sweet! Huge SO to great staff at this Waffle House!
