Waffle House, Wentzville MO

Floors were filthy, but the good food, great staff and affordable pricing made it worth it.

Started in 1955 and a staple of the south especially when traveling, quick inexpensive good meal. Short order cooking right in front of you, they take the order yell it to the cooks and absolute quick service. That’s the way they’ve done it for almost 70 years. They even have a counter and serve the food on real china plates. I have eaten at Waffle House for over 30 years, the one in wentzville is very clean, the service is impeccable and the food satisfying and affordable. They are open 24 hours and do breakfast and lunch and dinner all day. Donna waited on me today and she was so sweet and courteous. I had the all American which included 2 eggs, grits or hash browns, toast and a waffle and chocolate milk 13.75 with tax. Thank you guys for another great experience. Come check them out.

Gave us food poisoning on Christmas eve. Went there to have a late night meal. 7 out of 9 of us ended up vomiting and diarrhea. Won't ever eat there again.

I always have a great time when I go there the atmosphere and staff is very friendly! Know them on a first name basis

They need a new cook in that place. They had the nerve to serve somebody food that was not even fit to eat. The hash browns was so burnt you could not even eat them. The bacon was black. She was not even worried about the food on the grill. She just was standing at the counter talking to her friends. If I could have rated it a zero I would have. Night cook get lost.

I always forget how good waffle House waffles are. I get them with pecans. The server was very friendly and even teased us a little bit. That was fun. Person I was with got biscuits and gravy and they said they were excellent.

There's a special certain part of America where you can find a waffle House. And once you've been there you know what you're missing when you travel and they aren't there.

Family road trip to St Louis from cedar Rapids brought us to this location and all of us were able to say exactly when we last been to a waffle House. Some it had been years.

Long enough for me that some items on the menu had changed but everything else was there. The service was friendly. The team worked as a team. If something wasn't right on an order they made it right. They kept checking on us and making sure our glasses were never empty. It's truck stop comfort food at its best. It's that safe place to stop on the road.

The folks at this location did a phenomenal job. They managed orders but took time to talk with their regulars. They checked in on us to make sure we were being taken care of and they double check to make sure they run us up correctly. It's so good to know that when you've got phone memories of a place and you stop in after being away for a while The memories can live up to the reality.

Wherever your travels take you in the near future I hope they include coffee and pie.

My family goes to this Waffle House often. We usually get the same couple of servers who are always friendly and quick. Good is always good and we are in and out.

Since the start of this covid BS place has been dependable and with very few if any restaurants now 24 hours I love them I got to have them in my life

The service was excellent. Gretchen was a great waitress. The food was served hot and fast.
Although after eating half my food. I took a bite looked down and found a 2 inch black curly hair in my food. I expressed I was done. I also
Asked that the manager see it. Gretchen came back saying the manager was sorry.
There was no employees seen having hair that length or course. The cooks had very short hair.as all the Waitresses hair was longer length. Honestly appeared to be a pubic hair. She gave us my meal free. We will not be back.
I am still disgusted.

Of course the food was good! Of course the service was good! Atmosphere? Employees were having such a good time doing their jobs we wished we could just hang out for awhile instead of going on down the road.

My first time dining at a waffle house in maybe a decade+. Not squeaky clean but those were the best waffles i had in my life. I'm coming back to this one. Very small.

Wow. This Waffle House has it together. Welcoming, fast and efficient. The whole crew was there to work, but to me it looked like a machine. Everyone in sync and friendly. Rare right now. Thank you so much. Food was delicious. 7: 30am Sunday 11/13/2022.

This crew was so kind to my daughter who was upset that there was no pancakes…. Lol They obviously didn’t have to go out of there way to do that, but I really appreciate they did.

Great place to eat with friendly people. Probably be a new place to always stop at when going to the airport.

Nice people working there. Great food. I haven't had one of their waffles in about 25 years! It was great!
