Waffle House, Kansas City MO

I was Kansas City Missouri and noticed the Waffle House! I love the Waffle House the food is usually really good! Well for this trip the food and service could have been better. I was extremely disappointed
The server kept dropping my food off the plate forgetting to bring what I ordered? Bringing cold food and being brought the worst waffle? I've ever had at a Waffle House!
I kept looking at the picture of the waffle on the menu and mine was more like a pancake waffle it was really thin and soggy it didn't just look terrible but it tasted the same way.
My daughter and husband tried to help me eat it but after the 1st bite they refused to eat anymore of it!
I live in New Mexico and we used to have a few Waffle House restaurants but they all closed now but everytime I ate at any of the locations the food was delicious! Everything that got served looked and tasted amazing!
So when I came across this Waffle House I was very happy but that quickly turned to disappointment.
This was the worst visit to Waffle House ever!

I have been to a lot of waffle houses and I have to say my dining experience was very pleasant. This location is not only clean inside and out but the staff were a breath of fresh air! Lily took great care of me and I will definitely be back soon!

Worked overnights and this and IHOP were the only 2 restaurants open. Our group LOVED going here on the nights that LeLe and her Fiànce worked. They are the absolute best! Fast cook! Awesome waitress! Great food!

Worst service ever went in at 1230 am asked for carry out got told no went in this morning at 930 to be told no again the manager and the employee was so rude they said they was under staffed but they had like 5 people working what's the point of service when get told no you can't do take out that was my drive twice on top of it they don't even answer the phone when you call

This is one of the best branches of Waffle House I believe I have ever been to, and I have been to Florida, and they have a Waffle House about every 5-10 miles there.
One of the staff members (Jeremy) who I have seen almost every time I have been to this branch is the most charming person I’ve ever met at a restaurant. As my 6 year old son ordered a pink Lemonade which they didn’t have but he made his own pink lemonade so he could have it.
If anyone needs a raise, it’s that guy.

Love it here! Cooks are nice and waitresses are great! All friendly, great prices, good food!

Jas and the gentleman cooking my food were very hospitable! While I enjoy the food it’s something about the pickles that makes it even better. The gentleman cooking made sure I had enough.

Why are we being charged 20% on our bill for take out orders? We aren't making them wash our plates or silverware, we aren't needing service on refills, or even taking up space in their business? With the price of everything going up, this seemed to discourage me from even stopping when I need a to go order or should I say over charged order? I always left a 10 to 20% tip but now being charged 20% upfront for to go orders it a difficult decision for me if I'm leaving a tip for someone only ringing me up and taking 20% without any service?

The cleanest Waffle House i have ever been to! Was in late night on a sat. My server Jas was absolutely fantastic. The food was exactly as i ordered! To the cook and my server!

Stop for lunch on busy Dec23 shopping day and Bina was the only employee in the restaurant. At first we thought to leave due to staffing, but after seeing her work ethics we decided to wait it out. Not only was Binas food amazing, but she had the best attitude about being the only employee! 10/10 for Bina!

Seriously.on time I come in to sit and eat and it's carry out only. The next time I show up to bring food home and it is dine in only. These guys need to get it together. I'm not waiting my time to come here again.

My granddaughter and I pulled up to go in at 3 in the afternoon. I had promised to take her there for breakfast no matter what time. There was an employee outside either smoking or playing on her phone. We start to get out and she comes over and tells us only to go orders cause she was the only one there. I left and called for a to go order a bit later and got a recording that to go orders were limited so they could concentrate on DINE IN guests! Drove by and she was again or still sitting outside doing nothing. Not a good way to run a place in my opinion! Hope she gets her pay for the day for keeping customers away!

My friend and I were waiting in line on a Sunday a table come open that we can set out because we're bigger men so we were kind of waiting for them to clean that off and a waitress come up and got very rude with us Telling us to get back get back we haven't got those tables cleaned off yet we weren't anywhere in her way Then she told us you're not gonna talk to me like that you're going to leave and we told her no we're not going to leave get a manager. The Manger listing to us and then sat us down

The Waffle House in Liberty is pretty good. Dawn is a great waitress. Love the hash browns. Can't beat it for breakfast for the price.

Just had a great breakfast. Waffles and hashbrowns smothered and covered. My husband had pecans in his waffle. Coffee was good with plenty of cream. Jeremy was our waiter and was pleasant and efficient. They were short staffed- only 3 people running the whole restaurant. I noticed some people get tired of waiting for a table to be cleaned off so they left. I guess they couldn’t see the staff was run ragged and doing the best they could.

Like everywhere else they need working staff. Thay are doing there best with what they have. Always Consistent!
