Waldo Pizza reviews
17Amazing service and very polite people. Food is so good and got to us in a very reasonable time. Try the chocolate bomb!
Omg, easily the best pizza in town. So good! Michael was so cool. Had a great pepperoni, unicorn, and cat T-shirt on. Top notch service! Thank you Michael for your service this afternoon.
Yummy! The crust was just right- crispy edges and not too doughy. Toppings evenly distributed. I’m not a pizza lover but this one can potentially convert me.
Pizza is amazing! But you’ll wait 45+ minutes on top of your estimated wait time. Then you get a cool 20% off for the next purchase…
No thanks.
The ultimate, best, pizza buffet in the Kansas City area. Always have a multitude of choices to try, and I always end up eating things I didn't think I would like. You will not be disappointed. The staff is unbelievable, helpful and friendly.
This is a KC classic. They have a great selection of gluten-free items. The pizza is always great and curbside has not disappointed.
Love this place! We moved to KC and this was one of the first pizza places we tried and is delish. We've had both regular and thin crust, and while I prefer thin crust usually, their regular is my favorite. It's not very crispy but is really tasty and all of the ingredients taste super fresh. They offer contact free delivery which has been excellent during the pandemic. We're excited to try other pies and sammies from them:)

This place does not disappoint! If you like extra meat/toppings on your pizza AND like it to be extra crispy, which is sometimes hard to achieve - - have them to do it twice in the oven yum! The salads are great - I have a Caesar a few times a month and they’re always amazing! Not a fan of the Philly, but will keep trying others for one I like
Ordered pizza at 5: 30 and told it would be ready at 6: 50. Got there and they had me wait another 25 minutes. This is not acceptable…
The price is pretty high but it's the best pizza I have ordered anywhere. Chicken and jalapeños bacon with spicy red sauce.when I'm in the mood to spoil myself. This is my go to. Can't beat it. Everything I've had is great.
Yikes. Stopped in from out of town after reading some fairly positive reviews and being extremely hungry for some buffet style pizza. (Didnt want to go to any chains)
The guy seating people acted like he's never seen or talked to human beings. Very odd. Had us rather confused on the process. Ok no big deal, went to the buffet to grab some pizza, gross. 8 or so extremely old, dried up looking pizzas. Handed our plates back, mentioned to a worker about the pizza quality and nobody said a word and let us leave. They actually seemed upset that we were there in the first place. No worries folks, we wont make that mistake again!
Good pizza but not worth the terrible service and extended wait times.
After 12ish visits, I have had Multiple carry out situations where the wait was over 30+ mins longer than what was told to me on the phone. If you Dine in, you might be forgotten by the wait staff or just dealing with a lazy slow kitchen.
If you eat here I recommend the buffet because you don’t have to wait. Otherwise do yourself a favor and go to Minsky’s
They have custom printed cards for their curbside if that’s any indicator.
No taco sauce on the Tex-mex pizza and the garlic cheesy sticks lacked cheese. They were very busy, so I’m guessing these were just oversights and typically the pizza is great, but my experience was poor.
Customer service was strong and pizza arrived on time.
This is the Third time in two months that they have somehow lost our take out order. This results in a 30 minute wait in our car. They always offer us free garlic bread coupons which I already have 6 of. Great pizza, but horrible time projections. I could have order a steak dinner in the time it took to get our pizza. Heck, I am still waiting in line after 32 minutes.
I'm only rating this strictly on the pizza I had for curbside pickup. What you see in the picture is called the Choice Cut (specialty pizza). It has a hand-tossed crust covered with Italian sausage, bacon, pepperoni, hamburger, and canadian bacon. I got a medium for 2 of us and we could only eat half of it because of the heavy toppings. It's really hard for me to give anything a 5-star, especially pizza in Kansas City (this is not Chicago). I would say for Kansas City it is probably one of the best pizzas I have eatin' here. Waldo Pizza and Minsky Pizza - both the best in the area. Service was good and curbside very easy. I will be back as the Terminator would say.
Amazing pizza and crust! The best of the best! Great drink selection. So many toppings to choose from. Plus they have gluten free pizza and sandwiches/subs. Can’t wait to come back!
Oh. My. Hands down favorite pizza in America. And I’ve had much across the country. From the tinge of sweetness from the crust to the spicy red sauce, I was salivating over this pie. Cannot wait to return with others!
Order:
14” El Diablo on Honey Wheat Crust w/ a beer.
Absolutely love their lunch buffet! Great deal. Great food. They have the best salad bar around! And staff is always really friendly!
