Great technician but extremely expensive service. Charged me $200 for a part that only cost $14 on top of diagnostics and service charges of $270.

We had a very expensive high efficiency Lennox unit installed years ago. One would expect the install to be high quality. Yesterday I was in my basement and I noticed the exhaust pipe for the heater came apart on its own. If you look closely at my pictures you can see the installer cut the pipe way too short and at an angle. So the pipe had barely anything going into the 45 degree angle joint. The one side of it had zero going into the 45 degree joint. There is no doubt this was slightly leaking and finally came apart due to what they did. This could of killed my family (kids) in their sleep if this pipe came apart while the Heater was on overnight.

The pipe had such little to join in that joint that I couldn’t even temporarily glue it. (With pvc glue) it just wouldn’t hold. So we had to get it properly fixed with cutting the pipe, properly extending it and properly gluing it.

Let this be an example of always watching and checking any contractor work on your home especially when this could of easily been deadly.

Top Notch. One particularly hot weekend our prior service simply was not answering the phone-even after having recently repaired the AC. Welsch came that day-fixed a problem that in retrospect had been present for quite some time and the system has been flawless since. I even offered to replace the system as it is getting up there and he gave me the honest opinion to wait! Now they are our team. Prompt, reliable, available, courteous, effective, competitive.very happy with the switch to Welsch.

Follow-up: 3 years later-sticking with Welsch; great company!

2023 Follow up: Many years ago I switched out maintenance to Welsch and never looked back. Really good. Never replaced anything major even though our stuff is old and they did not install. I finally decided that I wanted to replace our 21.5 year old AC. It was a RUUD green machine and was a reliable beast but the bills have been creeping up with time-the refrigerant is no longer available and I just felt it was time. Never pushed by Welsch. A really fine guy dude came over, Robert Parnell. Now I was ready to spend over the moon for this super fancy dandy system-would you be surprised if I told you I was talked down? Mr. Parnell explained the pros and the cons of the inverter systems that they could have sold us but explained that there have been reliability issues. Instead he reviewed options and targeted me to a reasonable and high quality system. As I reviewed after the fact-I realize he really directed me to the sweet spot-the point where you pay enough to get the things that really matter for quality and function but helped me to avoid the type of spending when you pay a lot for just tiny incremental things. There were parts of the system that did not need replacement and he did not oversell us. I just feel good! Peter did not take advantage and Welsch has earned my true customer loyalty-super strong 5 star recommendation.

Came home to an interior temperature of 91 degrees on Friday evening. Called the 24 hr emergency number. Received a timely call back to be told they would NOT be able to assist since I did not have their service plan. Explained that this was their equipment and, in fact, the second unit Welsch had supplied for this home. To no avail, a miserable time was had you can be assured. Very dissapointed in the lack of customer service. If I can not rely on them in my time of need, why would I ever consider them in the future.

AC went out (out) as 20 years old, called Welsch. Denny Turlin came out and was very professiona, yet easy to talk to.l. We had a quote and decided to go with Welsch after receiving other bids. They had better prices, warranty, and financing.was professional installed within days due to us being completely out of AC in heatwave. Everything is working great. Very happy with purchase and company.

What an amazing experience. I came home and found out that my fan was not working on my AC (which is only 4 years old). Called after hours number. She was wonderful taking my information and the service tech Greg called me within 10 minutes. I was able to get emergency call out service (which of course is never cheap) but he was here within the hour. He was so kind and explained the problem with my motor - replaced it and showed me the amps that was so low and it was bad. He replaced it in 5 mins and he double checked my Freon level and all good. He was so awesome and had the best attitude! I can’t say enough! Thank you

Welsch just installed a new HVAC system at my house. The project manager I worked with, Denny, was great. He focused on keeping my price low, he answered my questions thoroughly, and he was even friendly and fun to talk to. My new AC is keeping my house way more comfortable, and I’m confident that I got a good value on it too. I’ll be glad to work with Welsch again in the future.

Great sales team that did some problem solving to align my furnace with a new AC unit. The best part - 36 hours after I signed the contract I had a new AC in my house!

Prompt service for repairing our AC. Steve did a great job…he explained the necessary repairs. AC is cooling like a champ. Steve, suggested a service plan to keep our units in tip top shape.

Highly recommend.

Needed replacement of dampener. Told them on phone to look up past service call and please order the part. The front desk girl ignored me and thus they were not prepared when they arrived. Another 7-10 days for part. Dont use them - they dont really care about customers. Front desk sucks. I fired them after the technician didn't like my scolding him for ignoring the call I made 6 weeks ago to schedule appointment. Its hard to find decent hardworking people anymore. The continued decline of America with the next generation working on your stuff.

Welsch replaced the geothermal air conditioning unit in our condominium home. The installation was complicated by the extremely limited space above the ceiling. They custom built the unit to make sure that it fits properly they built and installed the unit ahead of schedule and on budget. We were very pleased. I cannot say enough about the service technicians care for our belongings, protection of the flooring, and overall friendliness for the days we were there. I would certainly recommend using Welsch. They simply did an exceptional job.
