West End Wok, St. Louis MO

Well I stay in the neighborhood and craved chinese food so I thought let me give them a second chance instead of going out of the neighborhood, BIG MISTAKE. I ordered the sesame chicken online. I didn't have the option to request white meat, all bad, and once I picked it up I was told it was dark meat, yuck, but what the hell right. Well first there was barely any rice (side dish) the chicken was warm and hard. Once I bit into it, taste and looked like day old chicken. Crab rangoon was cold also. Very disappointed in this place such a waste. Won't be going back.
Update gave yet another shot. 6-22-23 Chicken fried rice, white meat only. Meat very undercooked and rubbery. The fried rice has a good taste but was kinda mushy. Tired of going out of my neighborhood, but I will because this last time is it! To each its own.

The best Chinese food I’ve had in St. Louis! Great portions for the price, always fresh and delicious! You truly can’t beat it. The general tso’s chicken is excellent

Must try sweet and sour chicken if you sweet lover. Nice environment, get punch card, buy 10 meals get 1 free.

Eggplant delight tasted more like a dessert dish, the sauce was way too sweet! Really wish it was savory because the texture of the eggplant was great. Would not recommend unless you like sweet dishes.

My meal of brown beef with fried rice and broccoli cost $22. The quality of the meal was worth $13. The beef was crispy and the sauce was delicious, but the fried rice left me wanting something else. I didn't find it filling. I hate to say this, but I wish I had gone to Panda Express.

Hands down the best chinese food I ever had! This restaurant rocks in every possible way! Big portions, delicious food, and the workers are so nice and helpful

Honestly the egg drop soup was good. The rice was average. Egg roll average, cab Rangoon average. And the chicken was awful. I got the orange chicken and it was so dry with very little sauce or flavor I ended up not eating it. (I tried several bites but they were all very bad) you get a lot of food for your money but there are much better Chinese restaurants in Saint Louis. Overall I would not recommend.

I gave you a chance to fix the issue, you told me "if you're not happy with the food is we won't exchange it for something else ". Cool story bro.

Bought a Kung pao chicken with white rice. Chicken had a really gamie taste like the kind after you take cooked chicken out of the fridge after a couple of days. I called them politely and asked if I could get something else. I had barely eaten it. They said if you don't like it, that's too bad because we've been selling chicken all day.

Good job. You saved your business $4 overhead by not remaking an order. Congrats. Employee of the month!

Pros: fast and the combo has a lot of food. I liked the spring roll and the rangoon. Cons: I didn’t think anything else was good. I couldn’t even finish it. I ordered the orange chicken and it looked grey and was soggy. It had some weird metallic taste to it. The rice tasted dry and stale.

Tasty food made super quick. Their lo mein is much better than any other Chinese places I've been to. Also try their west end beef, very sweet and delicious. Only caveat is that they're a bit pricey.

Absolutely love this place! I've been a customer for about 5-6 years, and it has never disappointed! During the pandemic, I prayed that it would not be forced to close. I am a woman of Faith and by the Grace of God, loyal and new customers, the owner and hard working employees, the restaurant has continued to stay open. I have noticed two changes. One is the change in business hours and the second is a slight increase in prices, but well worth it.the food is delicious and they don't skimp on serving amounts. For wheelchair users, they are most accommodating. I know this personally. The restroom is unisex and has a grab bar. If you've never gone there, I highly recommend you try it. One last thing, hours between 11am-1pm are very busy. Call and order ahead to save time. Enjoy!

Pork egg rolls and Szechuan combo were good. Very fast service. Dining room had a couple annoying gnats hovering around my plate.

Great customer service. Food is good and FAST. Highly recommend. I ordered my chicken extra spicy and this is the first place to do so. Most nod and say ok and it's not altered in anyway.
