I am a resident that is paying almost $1100 in rent per month. I placed a maintenance request at the beginning of the week for a broken AC. Given the 90 degrees + temperatures, this should be considered an emergency request. I have called everyday about the status. Yet today is Friday, and my AC hasn’t been looked at nor repaired. I’m about to stay elsewhere until the issue is fixed. These conditions are inhumane.

Such poor poor management. It only gets worse and worse. I highly recommend to run from this place. They have had multiple property managers throughout the year. The property manager is never here and the leasing agents is extremely rude, & unprofessional. If you have an issue with your unit the lazy maintenance will take their sweet time to come. The pool hasn’t been open whatsoever either

Unsafe, car breaking, management is horrible. The leasing agents are so unprofessional and lazy.

They never opened the pool or provided any update to residents! Don't move here for the pool unless they change things for 2022.

Terrible experience living here. The management is incompetent and quite literally scammed us out of a deposit. Maintenance requests were rarely addressed and I dealt with my bedroom window leaking into my apartment every time it rained with nothing done about it. The previous property managers were both extremely rude and the leasing agents are lazy and unreliable. Aside from that, the area is extremely sketchy and I never felt safe. Do not live here!

The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing! I cannot wait to make this my new home!

Terrible management. They are rude, incompetent, and lazy. They tried to scam our deposit and treated us like we were stupid.
Our apartment was fine and the price is convenient. The real problem is incompetent people working in the office.

I'm glad I decided to move into an apartment at Westminster Place Apartments. Merelynn Burch made sure I had everything I needed! Very professional.

Very negative experience here, cannot recommend. First of all, when we moved in the apartment smelled horribly of smoke, and overall just very dirty. Maintenance is very slow to respond and management is very rude. We had water leaking into our apartment from upstairs creating puddles in our apartment. I called emergency maintenance immediately, and they waited almost two days to respond. By that point, the water had spread to and damaged the carpets. For weeks after, the apartment smelled horrible, lots of bugs, and damage from the dirty water flooding the apartment. No attempt was made to help with cleanup. In fact, I was at work when they finally got the water to stop, and when I returned home I found the dirty standing water still sitting in my apartment. No one contacted me to let me know what happened, to fix it, or to clean up.
Now we have moved out, and they are trying to have us pay for the damages that results from their lack of response to the water leak coming from another resident. After we moved out, they waited several weeks to check the apartment, and are charging us for items that were marked as clean and good on the paperwork. Management refuses to respond to calls and is overall very unhelpful and unprofessional. The surrounding area is loud at night and often feels unsafe. I am so glad to be gone, I do not recommend living here at all.

I've been living here for a year and there have been numerous issues, including: mold, actual mushrooms growing near the bathroom, AC unit failure, AC unit leaking onto water heater, and an old washing machine that has been patched together and leaks everytime I use it. To their credit, they have taken care of most issues (after me having to remind them)
minus the washing machine (which I told them about at least two weeks ago). They are more willing to "renovate" empty apartments rather than help tenants with existing issues. Also, don't think about walking around at night unless you want to get shot or stabbed (not management's fault, but this is a shady area). Finally, I've seen the other reviews for this place and the ratings have been inflated by employees. Caveat Emptor

Recently got new management. Been here for a year and had a mouse issue. New Manager has a bad attitude, very unprofessional. Moving out soon.

My experience with the staff has been nothing short of amazing. They have great communication skills and delightful attitudes. The apartments are huge and the grounds are well kept.

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but this has by far been the worst leasing experience I have ever dealt with. My patience has run really thin. I am only 5 months into my lease and can not wait until it’s time to move out.

To start: Back in the summer, I was offered an apartment at a promotional price. 4 days before I was supposed to move in, I was notified that the classical unit I was supposed to move in to was no longer available. I was asked if I could pay the price for a ‘renovated unit’ and I said no since the price I was offered was what sealed my decision to move here. That was fine with them, but when I moved into the apartment, it seemed as though they just threw me into one without properly preparing it (including stains on cabinets, in closets, etc) or fixing the maintenance issues.

Since I’ve moved in, I’ve had issues with the toilet, an infestation, a screaming refrigerator for about 2 months, and losing air conditioning. I am convinced they did not properly inspect the apartment before leasing it out to me. I do not feel valued as a resident. For the first few months I also had to call them continuously to remind/nag them to adjust my balance on my online portal because I always would get notifications saying I’m late on rent (despite never being). I see a ton of people saying maintenance responds fast to their requests, but that has never been my experience. I always have to call and remind/nag them, which is frustrating being that I am in school full time.

The reason I’m writing the review now is because of the air conditioning issue. It was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. The air conditioning unit to my apartment is grounded, and the property manager apparently doesn’t want to fix it because it will be cheaper to just replace the whole unit. Ok that’s fine, but he wants to wait until next year because it’s cold. It has not been cold here for a while, and my apartment is always hot.to the point where I’m always sweating. Ridiculous to be paying somebody rent and you can’t even be comfortable in your own place right? When asked if it could be replaced sooner (or just fix the compressor!), I was told that’s not ideal because it can freeze. I have people who work on HVACs in my family, and this is not true. When asked what I should do, I was told to open some windows. I bet they have air at their house they can turn on and off with no problem. The disregard for me as a tenant is very frustrating. Sometimes I feel like I’m treated like this because of the promotional price I got for the unit I’m in (which is not even that spectacular). At this point I’m just ready to go. Do not move here. I wish I knew better from the jump.

Drove from out of state to tour the apartments. They showed a different model from that of the one that we wanted. Also, why take visitors from the back door by making them climb a flight of not so well maintained stairs? The next day they said they had a townhouse available as well as 2br/2ba (still shows in apartments and rental.com as available). She even confirmed that the kitchen faces south. But the very next morning another lady picked up and said it’s wrong information and no townhouses or 2br/ba are available! It’s not possible for all of them to be leased out in one day day! Unreliable staff and wasted my time.

Apartments have great layouts. Good location from SLU. Quiet neighbors & friendly maintenance staff.

The people who said they were gonna give a tour didn't arrive on time, in fact, no one was there. They were rude in trying to rearrange the date for a tour. I believe the person's name was Kilia. I had a terrible experience, and the hallways/stairways for the apartments I saw were ugly. It looked like someone scrapped off the paint from the walls and no one bothered to do any minor touchups. A real eye-sore in my opinion. I know this is close to SLU, but I will be looking elsewhere.
