Westport, Kansas City MO

Westport is known for the weekend party folks, and where the young folks who have some money, like to hang out, but like a lot of other places, has seen its share of problems, and a lot of restrictive rules have been put in effect, so unless I have business there, I usually will opt out.

Go at your own risk. Dangerous at night and during the day you still need to be vigilant with crime there.

Eat at Char Bar, always a fun yummy place! Tonight they had a special of prime rib steak & it was so delicious!

I miss the Wstport of my youth with tons of funky stores and street vendors at night. I do like a lot of the restaurants here now.

Love this area of KC. We walked and walked and shopped and shopped. Jerusalem Cafe is just fantastic. Everything they do is top notch. Prydes Kitchen and Necessities is the very best culinary store in America.

Great vibe. We stayed at Embassy Suites and Westport was great. They have great BBQ, Pizza, Pub and so much more. There’s also bars and clubs. We passed a cigar bar with great smells drifting out.

I've been a frequent traverser of Westport for decades now. It's changed a lot since then and for every store that I love still standing there is at least one more than I'll miss till the end of my days. Lots of locally owned shops and restaurants and the vibe is immaculate. This is my spot.

It is probably very nice.if you're white.for me, very suspicious cause nobody talks to you. Just take your order and send you on your way.unless you're white.

Always love walking around Westport and hopping from bar to bar.restaurants are good as well.

Great place during the day to walk around and get bites and drinks. Today was a perfect patio day and all the restaurant/bars there that I visited accommodated that.

A bit to noisey, great food fast service but hard to hold a conversation, because the acoustics.

I happened to visit during the week but enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere. The lines weren't as long, and there are still good deals during the week.

Great time for everyone during the week. Gets a lil shady at night on the weekends, but if you aren't being a complete tool you're gonna be just fine
