Westport Maytag Laundry reviews
12Dryers barely dry clothes. Split loads in half and ran each 2-3 times and clothes were still nowhere near dry! Had to take all of our clothes to Wash and Fold. Would highly recommend as they're brand new, helpfu, in the same area and it's the same price (cheaper if you're a first time customer 50% off)
Great place! Open super early for early birds like me. Owner Dave is a great guy. Highly recommend.
This place hasn't been updated since probably 1980, but that's okay! Takes quarters only and change machine only breaks $1/5/10. Single-use soap/fabric softener/bleach are $1 in the vending machine. Open until midnight. Plenty of parking. If you get bored, there's a TV. If you feel like dancing, Missie Bs is next door and if you feel like trippin, the candy store across the street sells mushroom gummies lol I'd definitely go here again!
Really needs to get customers to cut back on soap use. Soaps with toxic fake fragrance taint all laundry. Should also consider having a fragrance free section.
$2.50 for washer/ $0.50 for dryer.
It was my first time visiting this place and the washer and dryer randomly didn’t work or stopped working so i ended up wasting $6. The dryers don’t have heat adjustment options and need fixed. And it definitely doesn’t feel clean at all to me.
The safest, cleanest, and most affordable laundromat in the KC Area. Thank you to the super friendly staff that stayed open for an additional 10 mins to ensure my ride showed up. He didn't just shut and lock the door at close like most businesses would have done. I was also impressed that there weren't people loitering in the parking lot at midnight which in my opinion makes it feel safer for late night laundry.
Some of the dryers are been out of order for while now and it seems like the washers are not being clean at the end of the nights and the AC is off or not working and it gets hot in there with all the dryers and washers working in there.
This is my favorite laundromat in the city by far. The maintenance man/janitor/mr do it all that works there is fantastic the place is clean the washers and dryers work great and I love the location which is right across the street from q39
Does a good job at making it the best in Midtown. Always making sure the floors & tables are clean and responsive to Service Orders. Good for you and Thanks.
Only takes quarters, and there isn’t an atm nearby. My clothes were pretty dang clean and good feeling though!
I visited this facility at around 8: 30 AM at which time it was frequented by a couple of houseless people whom I speculate were using the place to warm up. Within an hour about 5 more houseless people showed up, a couple of whom spread a bunch of their belongings on the tables used to fold laundry, making it impossible for me to use. The facility was basically a homeless camp. I will never use the place again if I can avoid it.
Always clean.great hours.even when "busy" can always get to washers and dryers.change machine works.even old school laundry soap etc dispenser works.owners friendly and happy to help with issues
