White Wing Lodge, Branson MO

This was the best experience I've had at any motel! The manager and staff there were absolutely fantastic and nice. This is Eric from room 115 my wife and I say thank you guys!

Even though Branson is a military friendly city, this lodge does not offer military discounts. I had heard that it did before, but now it is under new management. In addition, the cost is too high for the quality of the lodge. Although the web page still advertises a breakfast, none is given anymore. When I got to the room in the evening, the first problem I had was trying to get into the door. There is a 10 digit code for the lock, but there is not enough light shining on the keypad to see well enough to enter the code. When I entered I noticed that the floors were poorly installed. There were several areas where the wood panels did not meet each other and there was no transition strip between the bathroom and the rest of the room. The heater/ac was dusty and the temperature was hard to read. There was food and dust under the beds. I also discovered after making coffee the second morning that there were no coffee cups in the room. For a total of $219.45 for two nights this was certainly a ripoff. I know people who have stayed there before and it used to be much better, but evidently the new management doesn't care.

WARNING: IF YOU CANCEL YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK. CANCELED OUR STAY A MONTH IN ADVANCE. AND HAVE YET TO GET A REFUND 2 MONTHS LATER! THEY HAPPILY TOOK OUR MONEY OVER THE PHONE BUT CANNOT BE BOTHERED WITH A REDFUND. Its understandable that it may take a bit since we did not use their awful new service BUT DONT TAKE MONEY OVER THE PHONE IF YOU CANNOT REFUND IT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CANCELATION POLICY. Absolutely will not stay here again. This used to be our favorite place as a family to come to when we would go to Branson. However, the last 2 times we have come have been awful. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Called multiple times, emailed multiple times, get the person who works there and says they have notified the owners, but the most they can do is give us an email. Owners can't be bothered with an email or a call back. Severely disappointed in how things are ran now.

Would give a negative infinity and a do not stay warning if possible.
UPDATE: 3 MONTHS after canceling finally was able to get a call and attempt the start of the refund. Throughout this whole process the lady that I communicated with was a SAINT AND DESERVES A RAISE however, I am severely disappointed in the fact that the owners could not be bothered or own up to mistakes and the length of time it took for a simple refund. Hopefully in 7-10 business days I will see the refund.stay tuned #thisIsAJoke

The staff here is amazing.been staying here for a little bit now and they have been able to put up with the craziness.suck great people and a great place to stay

The beds have plastic sheets so you will hear that ever time you move. No one works at night so when the crack heads in the room above us decided to remodel their room all night I had to go ask them to be quiet after listening to it for 3 hours. I would recommend staying under a freeway overpass before staying here you are more likely to get more sleep than here.

Update: A few hours after I posted the below I received a call from the owner of White Wing Lodge who apologized for the bugs and processed a refund for the stay.

This place was rough even before we noticed the roaches. By the first morning, the roaches found their way into our luggage so we checked out a day early and requested a refund. The front desk advised we place the refund request with Expedia to start the process. Expedia has emailed and called the owner for assistance with the refund to which there has been no response. The owner of White Wing Lodge is not taking ownership for the poor condition the hotel is in and refuses to acknowledge any refund requests. Further, I am surprised @expedia has not escalated this to refund and remove White Wing Lodge as a vendor given no response after 4 follow ups.

If you don't mind vinyl floors this is a place for you. The room was very clean and air conditioner worked great. We chose this place because of it not having carpet, carpets in most hotels are very dirty and sticky. Very economical and a half mile from silver dollar city. The shuttle comes by the hotel at least 4 times a day and picks up at silver dollar city the same amount.

No hot water in the bathroom. We had some one walk in on us at midnight. They had been given a code to our room. WE WILL NOT GO BACK EVERY!

This pains me to even write. We used to stay here precovid and loved it. There used to be free breakfast, clean rooms, and non sketchy vibes. Did we ever see anyone? Nope. The door didn't lock, people who must own the property doing the absolute bare minimum, dust everywhere, bugs in the room, and false advertising. This place went so downhill. We even tried to find another hotel and couldn't. Water in the shower doesn't get even warm for about ten minutes. Shower looked like it was coming OFF the wall. The only time we saw the front desk people, were in their pajamas both times and wandering the property. No housekeeping we saw.

Stay away. I'm so disappointed in this place now. Never will stay again.

So upon arrival notices my room was open and the blankets were on the floor. I was told they are still cleaning it. So as I watched the beds get made and the blankets picked up off the floor and put on the bed, only to clean the floor afterwards was a little disturbing. Non refundable! That's were they get you. Not no were ear the 103$ paid. The worst night sleep we have had in a long time.

We have been bringing our family to this hotel for many years with many great times and memories. It was the Deer Run when we started and now White Wing. The last couple of years it has went downhill and this last experience we will not come back. When the management walks around in pajamas all day stinking to high heaven, it shows they do not care about the hotel or the people in it. No more breakfast, the rooms wasn’t clean and up to par. The doors was falling off the chest below the tv. We cleaned the floors ourself under the fridge and cabinets cause of the water leaking. Speaking of water, the hotel ran out of water for most of the day, while the management hung out at the pool drinking and partying it down. It shows they do not care. Sad deal, if it was managed right it would be so awesome for families to enjoy again.

This is the 3rd time coming here and it seems someone bought it out and running them as Airbnb's. No contact, no breakfast.

Floors in our room were filthy. When we walked on the floor without shoes on our feet were black. Killed several brown recluse spiders in our room, checked with the office and they did not have anything to use to spray for the spiders, so we went and bought spray. The swimming pool was also filthy. The advertisement said there was a dog park, there is no dog park, just a small patch of grass to walk your dog. I would never stay there again and certainly would discourage anyone I know from staying there. Definitely WOULD NOT recommend this place to anyone at all! The staff was friendly but may be stretched a little thin. She were frequently off sight at a sister property.

Getting ready to make plans for a Branson trip. We always stay at the White Wing Lodge a mile from Silver Dollar City entry! Very nice owners, remodeled rooms, prices and lovely breakfast provided!

Old but updated. I would not pay high season prices though. The mattresses in our room are HARD. The room was very clean. The bathroom was clean. Plenty of room for 3 adults and two kids. You can literally walk to Silver Dollar City. Pizza and a store right next door. Overall a good value. You get a text with your code. No one in the office during our 3 day stay.

It's okay. The only plus to staying here now is that it is close to Silver Dollar City. We had trouble because there were no instructions that a phone app is required to get into the room. And the room keypad was broken, had to get staff to let us into the room with a key. The breakfast is gone, which is a real shame. It was a big reason we chose this place. It's not the same and was very disappointing for my family. If you've stayed here before, it's not what it used to be.

I enjoyed this rustic place and felt comfortable and safe. There is a lady there, I cannot recall her name, but she was so nice, helpful and accommodating. The rooms were clean, the furnishings unique and the AC worked wonderfully! The exterior surely doesn't encourage one on arrival but once inside your room, you will be pleased.
There is a "conference room" that has a "Breakfast" sign however it is NOT a place for breakfast but a sort of indoor rummage sale of various stuff; an oddity for sure.
There is a small coffee pot but take your own coffee (grounds), cream/sugar, etc. What they provide is not very good.
Would definitely stay here again.

Good value, conveniently next to Sliver Dollar City and clean but no hot water, breakfast or any other amenities. They are doing renovations and start banging at 8 in the morning. There is no breakfast and we didn't know about the shuttle until we saw it and were already leaving. Have been here before and it is sadly not the same.
