Bakery Winslow's Table reviews
16I ordered Shakshuka and OJ for lunch. It was really yummy. Wish it had a bit more spicy flavor but overall it was good.
Had wanted to go there for a long time. It didn't disappoint. Blackened turkey sandwich was no big whoop, but that was just poor ordering on my part. Avocado toast was good. Their breads (for sandwiches) were fabulous.don't know who makes them. Charming neighborhood vibe. Definitely will try again.
David the bus boy is a raciest, came to bother me and my spouse for no other reason besides the color of our skin, we we’re told to leave before I tossed your napkins and condiments on the floor and after being discriminated against for no apparent reason. After waiting 10-15 min for our order we were refunded and put out. UNHUMAN it’s 2024 I didn’t know this kind of thing was still occurring sad, terrible for business.
Good service by the wait staff - they brought out all the orders at the same time and in a timely manner, which you rarely see nowadays. They were attentive without being overbearing.
Be prepared to wait a while as seating is limited. The ambiance is nice but nothing outstanding.
That being said the food is a bit overpriced for what you get. The half and half deal - a small soup and a small sandwich - was $18 and tasted fine, but I left hungry. Might be nice for the ‘gram but not so so nice if you’re trying to eat a substantial brunch meal.
Am a regular for breakfast/coffee and I love this place! Delicious pastries and brunch plates, great place to hangout, and the staff is always so friendly. David always greets us so warmly! If you’re in a rush, it might not be the place for you during weekend brunch hours, but if you’re having a relaxed morning, it’s the best. We even came for dinner last night and food was wonderful as always, and way less crowded.
Entire experience was trash. Definitely not going back. Food was horrible for me and my wife. Menu was wrong, one and done with this place.
Nice open dining space, but not noisy and conducive to a conversation. There's also covered outdoor dining which is very pleasant when the weather is cooler. They had a great Ruben sandwich once which is off the menu now. There's a very good quiche with a side of greens, but their pulled pork sandwich served with a bag of potato chips is just so so. The breakfast items tend to be their forte. The food is ordered and paid for up front at the counter and then brought to the table. Wait time is reasonable. Water is a self-service from a cooler.
The downstairs curio and wine shop is worth a visit if you have time.
Winslows is great for pastries, coffee, breakfast, and lunch. Really great neighborhood place. The only caveat is that it's gotten so busy on Saturday and Sunday mornings it has become hard to count on being able to get a table, even if you're early. A good problem for the restaurant to have, though.
The food is amazing and the customer service is even better! Justin (manager) is literally the best person in the world. He made me and my party feel right at home. He was extremely prompt, knowledgeable with the menu items and super kind! I will be back ONLY because of his outstanding customer service. More industry people like him need to exist. Thanks so much Justin!
Had a great experience while having breakfast with colleagues. Staff was friendly, clean and welcoming atmosphere, food and drink were tasty, prices reasonable. Loved the area!
After traveling on crutches for my sons wedding I needed a place to relax before the ceremony. Walked in on my crutches and the staff was so friendly helped me with everything. The GM came over and took my order - I did think $22.00 of cup of coffee and a grill cheese might have been a little excess. After it was brought to my table I will admit I think I got the better end of the deal. Coffee was amazing and the grill cheese might have been the very best I have ever had. If I lived in the area I probably wouldn't go to the place more then 6 or 7 times a week. When I come back will need to make sure I bring everyone.great little spot.
I went with my partner after church and we had a great time. Our server was a joy to converse with and he made us feel right at home. My only criticism was my matcha was fairly bland (I think it just wasn't stirred properly.) My partner felt the same way as well (hers was iced mine was hot). Everything else was phenomenal, great food, great pastries. The goat cheese cookie is a must try!
The cold beverages are very average. Would recommend those! The Burrito and the chicken sandwich was great but the farmers breakfast wasn't good. Also everything is expensive.
Great food! Now that I've sampled some of their breakfast items, I will certainly return to try some of their baked goods and lunch items. Nice atmosphere as well.
Food is good. A place where you see a diverse crowd every time. Old and young. Organic vibes. Only down side is, you could possibly get your food before your beverage. More baristas would be dope!
Incredible brunch spot - every single staff member was so kind and genuinely caring about the presentation, taste, and quality of the food and experience. I couldn't stop thinking about the pancakes all day!
