Woods Supermarket, Bolivar MO

This local grocer does a fantastic job. I normally use curbside pick up and I love it. I am able to choose my substitutes prior to placing my order. Even with supply chain issues largely affecting consumables, I can normally find what I need. But, today there were several out of stocks. Heather phoned me and actually walked to dairy and the freezer to tell me what Wood’s did have to help me with my order. Unbelievable service! Wonderful deli and bakery. They are a bit pricier, but their ad sales are great. Thank you, Wood’s for keeping a clean store and cashiers available for inside purchases.

I'd shop there more if everything wasn't so expensive.
Even if they do give me a penny off of gas with every $10 I spend, I'd rather drive across town to Walmart to get what I need for nearly half the price.

Much better then the one in Stockton or even ElDo.but that's probably because they have competition. The other two have a monopoly in their areas; so their prices are higher and the quality isn't as good.

I try to go when they are not so busy. They are friendly and helpful. I go there mainly for their sale items and their meat selection is better than Walmart.

This store is very clean and the staff quite helpful unlike the store up the street with a name that starts with W. Though the prices are a bit higher, you will find a good selection, employees to help and they even have plenty of checkers to take your money, bag your purchases and help you load out if needed. They have a gas rewards program that helps offset the higher prices of the groceries. We love this place

Woods is a home town store. They offer a selection of fresh produce, canned items and they have a deli with cakes to order. They have a wide variety of grab and go snacks and even personal items such as tooth paste and over the counter medications. They have a Pharmacy within the store with a drive up with for quick trips. Woods is a home town store that has a lot of friendly staff and service we all have come to expect and rely on daily.

I love to have my personal cakes done here, if the decorator is not here I’ll be back in when she is. She’s an amazing asset to the store!

I LOVE our local Woods Grocery! The curbside pickup department has been fabulous to work with and a true blessing during the pandemic. Appreciate you all SO much!

Was a bit higher than the other place I shopped but the store was well supplied and the service was great and CURB SIDE pickup was specially installed under a roof. IMPRESSIVE

Use to shop there at times and they had fantastic deals on food products. Shame haven't been in there in some time but we did stop out front and had some shaved ice wow was fantastic and the 3.00 small one wow believe it or not was a lot the little lady was a fantastic server and also very nice thanks again hon. We will be stopping by again. And for all you haven't had the shaved ice in front of woods please try it. It's worth it very good the girl really made us happy and sure they will make you happy as well.q

Couldn't find strawberries. What kind if grocery store doesn't have strawberries? ! Put the thing I had bought back where I got it and drove to Walmart, which isn't even just a grocery store and had strawberries. Bought all the stuff there.

My wife and I like going to Woods Supermarket much better than the big box stores. They will help in anyway possible and when it’s time to check out your purchase’s, there is always a plenty of checkers available (NO SELF CHECK OUT) Get a Woods reward card and receive discounts on a lot of your purchases and get discounts on your gasoline at the Woods service station and convenience store. Keep up the good work Woods!

I heard they were going to get rid of all the meat cutters, and do prepackaged meats instead. If that is the case my family and I will shop elsewhere. I also want to add that if I wanted prepackaged meat I would go to Walmart. I believe this is the worst business move, and don’t be surprised when you lose all of your customers that come to your stores for fresh meat.

Closing the meat dept. & letting go all of the loyal, hard working employees that have been with you for years is a total disgrace to the community! Unbelievable! We will never step foot inside your doors again! I speak for myself and many others in our towns that have patronized your stores and kept you open! Bad decision on your part! Not even a one star for this!

It's Always a Good Experience at Woods. It is Always Clean and Stocked. We Trust This grocery store the Most in Bolivar. They are Always Helpful, have reasonable prices and are right there for their customers.

Went in once, looked at prices, only grabbed a couple things. I'm not sure if they get a higher price on the items they receive or just want to charge more. Prices were really high. Associates were very helpful.

It's a great small town grocery store with good quality food and low prices, and the employees are very friendly and helpful! If you have not already shopped here than I would highly recommend you stop by!

Went there for their deli breakfast which is served until 10am. At 9: 20 they refused to make more scrambled eggs. Had to talk to a manager to get eggs made.

Extremely disgusted with their customer service. Called about prescription and was told it was in and they would be open till 3. Online says 2. Showed up at 1: 30 and was rudely told by Tammy that the pharmacy closed at 1? ! Called later and got to speak to the same lady. Asked “what time does your pharmacy close on Saturdays and Tammy said “they close at two. ” When I explained my situation she started trying to yell over me and got really rude. She’s a “manager”. I will be calling corporate on Monday along with getting ahold of Don Jr. Thank you Tammy

Woods supermarket has better prices sometimes the new Dollar General you just got to keep your Woods card on you to get good discounts on good food
